My bracket (ESPN Fantasy) has taken some hits, but 12 of the sweet sixteen are my pics - Duke, Virginia, Virginia Tech, MSU, Purdue, Tennessee, Gonzaga, UNC, Auburn, T.Tech, Michigan, Kentucky. For me, that's not too shabby.

With the exception of Auburn(5) and Oregon(12), all the sweet 16 teams are top four seeds. I've picked Aubrun's run to end against UNC. I did not pick Oregon's run, but I did pick Virginia to advance to the Elite 8.

As the screen fades to black, and CBB is over until the Fall renewal, my thoughts will be of the Vols, the Vols, the Vols...

It could be, but probably not! I mean we lost to a very good UCLA team that just upset and knocked Maryland out of the tournament. It's obvious the lady vols were supposed to lose to a team like that..

I have 13 and all elite 8 possibilities intact, which is amazing for me. Normally I actually take time to do a bracket and think through upsets, but this year I didn't really do that since I forgot to do the bracket until the last minute. It's worked out okay. I too have UNC over Aubie.

Again, I don't see Phil giving Holly an extension just before the season start, then firing her at the end of it. Yes, the LVs aren't Pat worthy, but they did have a "winning season" and were invited to (one-and-done) the NCAAT. Now, if the LVs are the same or worse next season (and/or a top performing young coach is available), maybe Phil "surpluses" Holly.
