The analogy that came to mind a couple of days ago is Trump is like that jerky loser kid in school who is arrogant and completely unlikable. He responds by becoming the "bad kid". Trumpers are like the rebellious girl who goes for the bad, not so much because she likes him, but to get back at her parents and to assert her independence. The parents are shocked and disappointed in the decision but are confident that their daughter will come to her senses and it will be over with quickly. Friday was like the girl coming home gloating that not only was her boyfriend avoiding jail for the time being but that she was also pregnant.

How do you define "divisive"? Is it a qualitative measurement, where the concept is subjective based on the reporting party, or is it a quantitative measurement where it can be tracked through, oh, attacks on individuals related specifically to perceived presidential cultural ideology?

As I said, to save himself and the country the disgrace and embarrassment and to salvage the Trump brand. So far we have porn star lies and cover ups, his foundation being exposed and shut down, his lying about Trump Tower Moscow, his forcing through security clearance for Jarred and Ivanka against the advice of everyone, etc..... There is undoubtedly more in the pipeline.

First:irrelevant. We spend too much. Doesnt matter how much we bring in if we spend more than it. "Our" argument has always been cut the spending.
