Nobody cared about Auburn.

The important thing was that TVA has to have coal to generate electricity to light our houses.

So, we had to send those Big Blue boys back home early to their sisters.

Because that coal ain't gonna mine itself...
Are you saying you dont care that we STILL haven't gotten the SEC tournament monkey off our back? That game wasnt about Auburn. It was about us hanging a banner and doing what Bruce kept saying Cutting down nets. And potentially schools first #1 seed.

I was there. We were 20,000 hungover Vols.

Sure, I would like a banner some day.

But, I will always remember the wonderful feeling of turning around to face 15 rows of almost solid blue and shouting out for all to hear................K.M.B.O.A.

We can win the banner next year....blah blah blah.

What is really does is let us know the team (and coach) are not capable of back to back big wins in a big stage. If they take a big game in the tourney, they will not show up the next game. We did that a couple times down the stretch. Both time we beat KY, we got beat. So either Auburn is highly underrated (didn't they catch us twice after a KY win?), or we flop after a big stage performance. If they "were on a break", wrong ideal. Harder to restart than to keep it motoring.

Barnes is Cal’s daddy.

His team full of 5*s gets outplayed by a bunch of 3*s.

6-4 record against Cal doesn't imply ownership. I mean, it's pretty good, but it's not like he owns Cal.

Also, best Tennessee team in decades, and you can't win either regular season or conference tournament. But good luck in the real deal!

For some reason, I can see a UT fan posting this on a UK site about the UK football team. Well, except that UK has never been 6-4 against any UT head coach since Howdy Doody was on TV. If even then.

Funny that, for now, we have to take the shots from Vandy fans about football...but not UK fans. Perspective.

But go with whatever helps you sleep at night.

Go Vols.
