However Tennessee should be a 1 before UNC. Please tell me what on UNC’s resume screams 1 seed? Beating Duke twice without Zion? They lost to Michigan, Texas, and the same Louisville team we scorched.
On top of that what from Gonzaga screams number 1? They beat Duke. They also lost to us and UNC

Our resume is better than both. If they take the name on the jersey out of it there is no question.

Furthermore against Bilas's argument - UT would have racked up 3 Q1 wins (all top 20, in fact) this 1 week alone. For a team that came into this week with just 7-8 (I believe), that is a very significant part of our resume and simply can't be ignored.

I was at the game today, and the atmosphere was amazing. It felt like the final four. I'm really tired to hearing about how the refs are against us though, especially in this game. Even Coach Barnes said he thought the refs did a good job on his postgame show. I heard equal bitching from orange and blue alike. Outside of brazen cheating like Anthony Jordan (Johnson?), I don't believe these ref are trying to do anything other than be fair.

I hope we don't come out flat tomorrow because Kentucky was sort of the emotional climax. Auburn had to play an extra game, so their threes may come up short. I love this team so much. I think it's going to go down as the best basketball team Tennessee's ever had. After today, we deserve the #1 seed. Tomorrow, we should be able to cement that.
