Just wrote my 300th review on yelp

It was on the steak house we went to last weekend for the celebration

Still have 5 to write that I know I need to off the top of my head

Crazy to think I have written that many reviews

Sometimes I hear back from the owner/manager

Sometimes I do not

Some of them thank me for my review/visit

Some are unhappy that I had to write a bad review and want to know more details so they can fix the issue(s)

Heck, in one of the reviews, the restaurant use to put coupons out in the quarterly coupon magazine that comes in the mail, and I had stopped seeing them so I stopped going as much, so I mentioned that

He responded and sent me coupons and said because of my review he has requested to go back into the flyer

Sure enough, I see them now

I didn't give them a bad review though, just gave them an okay review but mentioned I would have gone there more often if I still saw the coupons since they are a little pricey

Some of the bad reviews, the owner(s) take it poorly and get offended

Then get defensive
