Trump budget; you just have to laugh

The White House is proposing a 5% cut across federal agencies, except for defense spending, as part of its budget plan for fiscal year 2020, which begins on October 1. The proposed cuts come just as Congress will need to decide -- yet again this year -- whether to lift spending caps put into place by law in 2011.

Go ahead and cut defense by 5% also and then any lawmaker that doesn’t support it needs to pack their bags and GTFO of the capitol.

I’m still laughing that while the Democrats pretend to be the party of tolerance and love they had to stage an “anti hate” resolution because another one of their elected officials was shown to be a bigot.

As a side note, the were too cowardly to call anyone out by name. Let’s just make it a generic anti hate resolution!

That’s funny stuff. The party of the Klan lives on!

Ill take 5% without defense cuts. But I’d admonish them for not including defense also. And I’d like to see a plan to cut another 5% across the board in the 2021 budget.

Our revenue is fine. We MUST cut all of our spending.
Corporate tax revenue is down. Will never pay off the deficit without more revenue.

That whole scenario must have been sweet for you. A Muslim makes an antisemitic comment and you get to bash her (even though your dear leader has himself made a number of similar comments) and pretend it's not because she's Muslim (which you routinely disparage as a religion every day).

The dishonesty of the right on this episode is just astounding.

So what’s the dishonesty level on the left for even issuing one? Either it’s a problem or it’s not.

Of course it is. But the right taking delight at a Muslim being chastised for religious bigotry is the starkest example of hypocrisy I've ever seen.
