This is what my post should say
Summer of 94 was between my high school and starting college and the HORDE Tour came to Knoxville on the Worlds Fair grounds. Allman Brothers, Blues Traveler, Big Head Todd, Dave Matthews Band, Rusted Root, and maybe a few others - all day long on two stages. Man that was awesome!

Oops, did that all wrong
I have seen Blues Traveler at the Bijou in Knoxville. Really good show. I also have seen The Cowboy Junkies there. Another truly amazing show. I still think my two favorites were Stevie Ray Vaughn and Lonnie Mack together and also George Thorogood and the Deleware Destroyers. Both of these last two were at Alumni Gym. Awesome, awesome shows.

In 2000, Beastie Boys and Rage Against the Machine were supposed to do a summer tour with At the Drive-In opening. It never happened because Mike D hit a pothole on his bike and broke his collarbone.

That could have been the tour of all tours before the festival era we're currently in.
Weird. They canceled a Violent Femmes show at TBA in 93 for the same reason. Drummer broke his collar bone in a bike accident.

You made me think of Cowboy Mouth. I enjoyed them in high school and early college and saw them in a small venue at UT (maybe on the Strip?). One of the few bands where the drummer is also the lead singer.
