I can't count how many I went to starting in '92. There is just so much good music out there all over all types of genres. But, yeah, they are pretty damn good.

Agreed a lot of great music out there. Ive been going to their shows since the later Houser years and while the band has evolved it is still top notch. Prob been to around 80 myself, but like you its hard to be exactly certain as it runs together. Herring sparked a lot of energy in the band and has carried them through the last 8 years or so IMO.

Also, for people who are throwing out Clapton, you need to look into JJ Cale. He wrote a lot of the music Clapton covered and became famous for. Just was not into touring or the limelight so he never became as well known.

I have been waiting for someone to mention the best touring band of my generation. Not many artists or shows out there that can hang with Widespread MF Panic.

I've seen them over 100 times, going back to '98.

I saw him in Memphis a few yrs ago. It was a good show. Just don’t think he’s top 5 like “Rolling Stone “ does. JMO

One night back in ‘95, my gf and I went and saw Warren Zevon in West Palm. Great show at a small venue. On the way home, we heard on the radio that Warrant was playing at the Button South in Miami that night. Drove down at saw them. Great Night!!!!!

I think they are a very good band technically, I just think their music is very generic, like there isn't anything fresh or original about them. I'm sorry I'm bashing, I'm sure its like when someone says Dylan is overrated and I blow a gasket. Everyone's opinion on here holds equal weight except @Bassmaster_Vol.

I've never been. It would definitely be a hell of a time.

The best shows I've seen them play was for the 'Z' album. Absolutely mind-blowing!
