Well...... I’m biased as a KISS fan (and metal in general)...but other than the 10 times I’ve seen them, Pink Floyd was the best concert I ever saw. Miami in 1994.
I've been to many many shows all over, but, the one where I can't remember the show but was hands down the most insane party was Widespread summer 1994 probably June in Athens on a farm. I remember we had a couch in the field with kegs around us. If anyone was there, how was the show?
Funny story, the only concerts where I wouldn't get to anything other than drinking were the Dead shows....
Best concert I've ever been to has to be any of the 5 times I've had the absolute please of experiencing the Eagles. Was lucky enough to see them in Nashville March of last year and even without Glenn Frey they were still absolutely amazing. Deacon Frey and Vince Gill both do an incredible job as the new additions. Getting to experience The Rolling Stones in Nashville in 2015 on their Zip Code Tour was definitely a bucket list item. For the $$ however John Fogerty ranks up there as well. Paid around $30 a ticket to see him a couple years ago in Alpharetta, Georgia. Fantastic show.
I have been waiting for someone to mention the best touring band of my generation. Not many artists or shows out there that can hang with Widespread MF Panic.
Newt, I will say this...I can't remember what year it was, '99 or 2000...but, I saw the Foo Fighters open for the Chili Peppers at what was Starwood in Nashville, and they blew the Peppers off the stage; and the Peppers are on of my favorite bands of all time. That night, FF were on fire.

Queen
A little bit of jimmy buffet
Phil Collins
Eric Clapton
Rush
Pearl jam
Boston
Santana
My Morning Jacket is my favorite band in the world, and Bonnaroo '03 is where I fell in love with them. I've been all over to see them; and, yes, a religious experience live.
Love The White Stripes and Black Keys, as well. Can't forget The Strokes when it comes to great 21st century bands, though.
Lol. I understand completely what you're saying about them, and I agree; although, I do like them, especially their old stuff. By far, they're not one of my favorites though.I think they are a very good band technically, I just think their music is very generic, like there isn't anything fresh or original about them. I'm sorry I'm bashing, I'm sure its like when someone says Dylan is overrated and I blow a gasket. Everyone's opinion on here holds equal weight except @Bassmaster_Vol.
seems like people are too busy recording and taking pictures to enjoy the show. Technology, while good....has put a damper on life.
