So my question now is if LSU is close in either of these last two games. Will the SEC tell the refs to help the non-LSU team to try and get a UT v UK final in the SEC tournament?
That's what I was trying to say in my incoherentness. I was wondering if the SEC would "suggest" to officials to help LSU lose a gameVols need to get the 1 seed to make sure LSU and UK are on the other side of the bracket. A UK-LSU revenge game in the semis and a rubber match between UT and UK on a neutral court for the championship would be great BB. SEC and ESPN should both like the viewership and $$$ that would bring.
Can I get some love for Fulk!? Didn’t do a lot that shows up in the stat sheet but he gave us big minutes with Kyle in foul trouble.
Had a nice block at one point that turned into a transition bucket for us
Just to remind you guys, Gonzaga played Arizona, Washington, Texas AM, Illinois, Duke, Tennessee, Creighton, and North Carolina in the preseason. They create as difficult a schedule as they can get. Sometimes teams that are traditionally strong (Arizona, Creighton, and TAM) end up being ******, but these games are scheduled 2 or 3 years in advance. While the WCC doesn't have a second high level team, the conference overall is better this year than others.
With that being said, it's ridiculous to pin an argument for Tennessee not being a #1 on SOS. As stupid as it is, timing of your losses is huge in making tournament rankings. I'm not worried though. Our boys are going to whip both LSU and Kentucky on the way to their first SEC Tourney chip.
Barring something crazy happening, I expect Corey Walker to end up at UT.
I'd be surprised if a public commitment doesn't happen within the next 48 hours, and more likely sooner. Obviously would be a significant deal.
