In other words it’s hard for me to believe Saban toughs it out for much longer. All his top assistants are moving on and his replacements don’t have that same wow factor to them anymore.

The amazing thing is that this was posted on a bama site? Funny thing is that most of the commentators loved Pruitt but hated Fulmer's guts and think Phil is going to get rid of Pruitt some day (just in time for him to come home to bubba, no doubt). Crazy stuff.

I will never understand the Saban-Hate. I want to beat BAMA in the worst possible way. I've been a true UT fan since 1979.
Saban has done something at BAMA that probably won't be matched in our lifetimes.
He's done it with a virtual coaching carousel. He's done it with LAME KITTEN for goodness' sake.
He will continue to win because he and his staff DEMAND commitment, determination, maximum effort, and excellence from his players.

A guy like that just AIN'T gonna be popular with everyone.

If you actually read the article, Stevenson said that he had a great working relationship with Saban--and flat out SHUT DOWN any nonsense
about telling stories concerning his former boss.

By the way--there are plenty of stories told from those dipstick Uga fans trying to paint CJP in a very bad light, too.

Why can't we just be happy this dude is here and leave the Saban-bashing to those mouth-breathing Gators, Tiggers, and Puppies?

GO VOLS!

You probably should have waited until someone bashed Saban before going into full protective lash out mode. Jmo.

Wasn't lashing out.....just have read so much on here and know what's coming. And it's just hilarious to think that Saban doesn't have a day-to-day relationship with his players.
It may not be of the same nature as CJP's---but those 5* studs keep signing with Bama.

CJP hires Stevenson, a long-time personal coaching friend away from Bama---and the "fishing" expeditions for "dirt" on Saban have already began.
In case you haven't noticed, that is already the "tone" of this thread.

Glad to see Stevenson shut any of that nonsense down.

I just want to BEAT SABAN while he's still on top of the pile.

GO VOLS!

Or possibly when you are a d-coordinator you have roughly 40 kids, 3 position coaches, approx 40 moms and sadly a good many less dads. 1 side of the ball or approx 40% of the game on your mind. As a head coach you 85 kids, 8 position coaches, the media ( saban doesn’t allow assistants to speak to the media) 100% of the game and all the parents, boosters and politics to deal with. Honestly, the head coach just can’t have personal relationships!

Stevenson was talking about his first day at UT. Meaning Pruitt was/is the head coach.

Let me splain it to you amigo. I've been around Saban numerous times. He's a supreme prick. Everyone is on pins and needles around him because they're afraid they will piss the SOB off and get screamed at. Not many people who know the guy like to be around him.
