I hope our fans never behave like Ole Miss fans. Trashing their own court is one thing, but they were throwing stuff at our players, all the way from the bench to the tunnel. They had drinks poured on them and several got hit in the face with cups and stuff as they walked past the student section. Hope TBA is never like that.

Hopefully the SEC fines them for that act... but its doubtful the conference will show any teeth.

Fans taking their cue for bad behavior from their coaches? Second game in a row we've played a team where the coach acted like a toddler throwing temper tantrums at the officials. Davis should've gotten T'd up long before he did. Can't believe he didn't get one when he grabbed that ref and yanked him from behind.

Just gonna disagree with you there on a lot of parts. MLB players are just as banged up and it’s maybe even more of a grind. 162 games is a beast. So this whole easier on the body thing is a complete myth to me.

There is also not even close to a fast track to a 250 mil dollar contract. I’m guessing you’re referring to Nolan’s Arenado new deal but he’s been an absolute machine the last 4 years. One of the handful of best players in baseball for a while now.

The average MLB salary this year was 4 mil$.
If you are even a decent NFL based on the market now you will make 20+ mil after your rookie deal. And judging off bakers contract (Bc i think Kyler goes 1 to Arizona) he will make about 8mil/year the first 4 years. So worst case scenario even as a busy he will make about 30mil. That’s more than 90% of mlb players make.

🤨
Baseball injuries derail careers all the time. So when’s people act like you’re just gonna skate through to a big time contract unscathed are kidding them selves. One labrum injury and it’s really hard to swing/throw.

Baseball players also get injured. I don’t think it’s comparable to football which is what you posited. Sorry if I’m mistook your point. Thought it was an obvious disparity.
