I actually gave up fast food a few years ago, when I started having the heart trouble. Except for the occasional sub, and I've pretty much decided to give that up too.
The doc told me that anytime you go more than 5 hours without eating, the liver will start producing sugar. That's why he told me to eat something every 5 hours.
