SIAP. Peyton Manning is a national treasure.

He worked here as a grad assistant under Pat back around 2000. He makes a little under $900,000. He might be attainable but im not sure we will lay $1mil for a women's s basketball coach. My choice would be Jeff Walz at Louisville. He makes about $1.2mil so he's probably out of our price range too. Holly make about $685K if I recall correctly. I think we'll see a mid major coach and pay them about that.
I think you are severely underestimating Coach Fulmer. He knows what Lady Vols basketball means to most of Volnation and that championships are expected. I think he will make a homerun hire.

You may be right. I guess I'm skeptical.

I still think @bignewt is an idiot, irregardless.

Lol, you know I’m seeing that hip crease too high. 😂

Personally I’ve started to keep an inch above parallel because I’m tired of my SI Joint sending me into spasm every two months. Killing my ego, knowing folks be judging, but I’m injury free for the present

How much front squatting do you do? I switched around the new year from focusing mainly on back squats, to focusing on mainly front squats. What I noticed very quickly was that there was a muscle imbalance with glutes that were too developed (pause), and quads were lacking development. After about 2 months of alternating strength/power and hypertrophy/endurance rep and set ranges, with a focus on front squats and other quad accessory work, the gains have been magnificent.

The first thing that I immediately noticed was that lingering lower back pain was all gone. That was due to overworked glutes (pause) from doing too much back squatting. The next thing I noticed was that the lingering pain in my knees went away due to having a stronger core. Now I'm shedding time on 1 mile, 5k, and 10ks runs almost everytime I put on my running shoes.

Ha, I've considered switching to a low bar squat. I squat high bar and break parallel by a good 4 inches. Of course I'm not putting 5 plates on my back either.

Peck to UT???? It's who my dad seems to think would be best.

Also I need to lift again...kids ruin everything! But I never got past 300lbs, and I don't care about depth, 495 on your back for 3 is no joke.

Roman is a monster, he is going to have big time impact I think.

I'm 60% sure that 20% of all sports fans are at least somewhat familiar with the top 10% of women's college basketball head coaches. :) Who does Phil hire? If him I would immediately try to hire Jeff Walz and lock him in long term. I would cut out all the "it has to be a woman" noise and do the right thing for the program. It's going to take a couple recruiting cycles to fix the roster issues, but they will literally improve Jeff's first day on the job. If not him, they will pick the up and comer. But program legacy hires should be out IMO. New blood needed badly. The game has moved on from Pat's days.

On football - I doubt CJP is focused on winning the 7-8 games most on here are predicting. He wants to win each and every game. He would not have hired Chaney if he planned the stair step approach. This staff is not growing into their roles. They know their roles. CJP is the only one growing into his and he has worked for NC winning HC's and AD's. His time is now. The players that want to play will be busting it. As fans we will accept 7-8 wins as good progress - but I just don't see CJP agreeing with that. It's not reflected in his words and actions. It's not reflected in his recruiting. When have you ever seen so many elite athletes at least kicking the tires and coming for visits? They know what's happening here. Good times ahead.

Global warming only became a problem once we invented cows and let them fart all the time now we got a crisis on our hands.

So let's eat the cows. Wait.... we can't do that either because then PETA gets mad.

Maybe we just need to feed the cows a diet that produces less gassiness?
