I've seen several teams play badly and still win, teams have bad nights.
If you have one of those bad nights, lose by 2 after the officiating is very one sided against you? You look into the officiating.

We should have the exact same chance to win as every other team that plays a poor night of bball, period.

Yes, but I hate that tool, Tom Izzo. I don't want Michigan State to win crap.

I think Duke, Zags, Virginia, and UK have all but locked up the 1 spot. Michigan, Michigan State, Tennessee, UNC and Texas Tech are battling it out for the 2nd seed. I don't think Houston deserves a 2 seed.

They really have not locked up anything. There is a lot of basketball to be played. I do agree that, today, that is who would be one seeds but all of them have plenty of chance to play themselves out of it. I think Duke and Gonzaga are the most likely of those four to keep it.

Sounds like he should not have been calling it. We still blew it, obviously, but this is not a good look for him.

He isn't an alum but he's from Baton Rouge.

If he is from Baton Rouge, there's no way in hades he should be allowed to call the game, especially if the game is there. I think we had a former DB, Terry Daniels, or something similar who was an SEC football official and never was allowed to call any of our games. I could be wrong on the name, but I remember something like that.

Agree... and I'd think the officiating will be more balanced based on what has been going on so far this week. Ole Miss will be pumped and smelling blood, so we better freakin bring it ...

I hate that MSU is above us. Though, admittedly, they have been playing better than we have the last couple of weeks. I think the sweetest thing I can think of, other than ousting Kentucky in the tourney, would be ousting Michigan State or UNC.

Yeah, I saw Packer, Price, Hubbs & Green discussing this on the Locker Room last night. They also mentioned that this guy called an exorbitant amount of fouls against Tennessee in comparison to the other refs. Even so, we should have gotten the job done in spite of this homers help

I believe Rocky Goode lived in Knoxville and never did a UT game.

Also, there is an old article out there about basketball officials. I think Mike Stuart lived around Knoxville, and he only did UT’s non conference games- never did conference games. That would be next level incompetence/arrogance by SEC if AJ has ties to Baton Rouge and calling their games.

The only enjoyment I can see in this is Kentucky hasn’t moved at all even after beating us.MSU will not get past the second round in my opinion I’m not impressed with them this year.we just gotta win out and we will be ok

So he's likely going to get some sort of reprimand, doubt it's too serious.

I understand, but we also allowed Smart to score 29, and he had at least a couple easy layups towards the end of the game. That shouldn’t happen. He wasn’t making crazy contested shots. Layups.

We allowed Smart to score 29 easy because both of our Point Guards had 4 fouls.

Okay, I think it's clear at this point that Mr. Jordan:
1. Is indeed a supporter of LSU;
2. Did not disclose this to the SEC; and
3. Has particiated in officiating LSU contests, despite his partialty towards that school.

I don't think it's an overreaction to say he should be fired.
