Was definitely uncomfortable but really quick headed home to put my feet up, take something for the discomfort and grab a bag of peas. Figure I’ll be completely caught up on all new threads. May even check out the Endzone. With nearly 2mill posts, that should keep me occupied.

Well, I’m glad he’s not going to be quiet anymore. This trash officiating has been going on for a while now in our games. Maybe we can get fair officiating for the rest of our conference games.

Hes shown to have patience with most officiating misses that us as fans notice and emphasize. I take his reference to it as an indication that the gripe is actually legit.

Win @ Ole Miss during the week and beat UK this weekend, and no one will care. Just get it done.

The question is would the game have even been close enough, if the officiating was fair? Yes, we had chances to win. There was a potential 4-5 point swing at the end of the 1st half alone due to 2 fouls not being called that should have been called. Those points alone are the difference in us winning in regulation and not going to OT.

Rick Barnes is salty, today...

We could have closed them out in regulation but the horrible officiating did not help. We have to play our opponent and the refs most games. In order to win, we have to play a perfect game every time out and that is a lot to ask of any team.

Barnes is stating the obvious: UT should have played better and seized opportunities to win the game, but officiating was an issue that impacted the outcome, and that shouldn't happen. He doesn't usually contact the SEC about questionable calls, so when he does, that says something. And when the SEC actually agrees with him, that says even more. Issues that are ignored generally aren't resolved.
