The basketball team needs to play better. It’s a matter of synchronicity. Too many guys having bad nights at the same time causing other individuals to force the action and not play their game. Would rather this slump in February. There is time to get it together by SECT and the Big Dance.

However, at the end of the day, this forum was created for football, and honestly, UT football is my first and only sports passion. When’s the next 2020 commit? How many of y’al think we upset one of FL or UGA next year? Crouch bout to eat. Alontae and Thompson bout to eat. We coming.

Yes and no.
The officiating was horrible and we took the lion's share of the crap, but..

The game was still very winnable and we just failed to take it. Very young, newbie like mistakes for a veteran team at times.

Depends who you ask. Refs were bad as usual. Doesn’t seem like anyone thinks the call at the end was wrong, just that it shouldng have been called 80 feet from the basket in a close game and end like that. Which I kinda agree with, but we just played extremely stupid at the end which was way more costly than any call was imo

I don’t think he does honestly. There have been numerous times that I thought Barnes needed to get on the refs to the point of getting a technical. I think it would fire this team up to see their coach go to bat for them. He should have done it again today with the trash reffing that was going on.

When did I say there’s no favoritism? Sorry I don’t believe there’s some big conspiracy against Tennessee to drop them as low as possible and make sure they lose as many games as possible

Don’t believe the whole referee conspiracy - it’s just ****** that our two losses have been very poorly officiated, but that’s life on the road in CBB. Should change when we’re back at home against KY.

But ESPN couldn’t even wait until we lost the game against KY to start talking about how far we would fall. UT is not the media’s darling. We aren’t a hero or a villain, just a good basketball team. They couldn’t wait for UT to lose. We’ll still nag a 2 seed as long as they don’t totsllg collapse.
