Whats the spread on this game. I look for the vols to have a turn around game. It will be fun to watch and fun to come back to see all of you eating crow.

I think it's -7 at the moment... I could be wrong though.

UT will hit Auburn with a strong passing attack. I believe Crompton has a better game this week.

You're far more optimistic than most. Have you seen many UT games? He was able to get away with some mistakes against other opponents (and escape with only 4 INTs) but against Auburn he'll be throwing under pressure all game and will probably make far more mistakes... against a much better secondary.

Don't count them chickens yet.

(too obvious a pun to pass up)

This thinking must be why USCe fans fill up Williams-Brice year after year expecting their team to win. You all have no grip on reality.

I think he will throw to the backs a lot. In the flat, and they will run screens and draws.

Can Foster outrun any of Auburn's LBs? We've tried that a few times to this point and, if I recall, only had success with WR screens.

auburn will blow that up if we dont get it going offensively and just hit them with those at the right times

And what would that reality be? I think that reality to the vols is tou hat their fans have had too high expectations for the team so far this year. Reality to is that this team will improve. I know if the team thought the way most of you think that they would just take their football and go home.

I've watched my teams (high school, college, etc..) get beat bad and have returned as long as I thought they were playing their hearts out.

I think this team is a wreak and I don't enjoy watching it.

I will watch Army get killed by PSU and be proud of the way they play.

No pride in the product UT has on the field.

I know that the Vols will beat Auburn. I want them to beat Auburn. These players need to step up and make plays. Thats all.

Freudian slip?

I agree. Players need to step up and raise their effort level.

We all have watched teams get beat by 30 points and still had pride in the level of effort. I didn't see that from UT.

I think in the last 30 years I almost always saw pride and level of effort from a team the Vandy. They just didn't have the players to get the wins.

At the beginning of the season when I saw the schedule I was incredibly disappointed to see that this game fell on the same weekend as a camping trip I was required to attend to celebrate a friends recent wedding. Now an impending Nor'Easter looks like it going to wipe out the camping trip and I will get to see the game after all, which is also disappointing.

I saw pride on the defensive side of the ball throughout the fourth quarter. Just sayin'. But I didn't see it from much of the offense in the fourth.

Agree -- there was pride on the d-side of the ball. Maybe we do need to put Berry on the offense -- but Crompton wouldn't see he was open.

Also, why not put more starters on the special teams? The special teams have traditionally been where the second and third teamers play. But UF and USC (west) play their starters.

We COULD do it.. but could and will are 2 different things.

That's the beauty of football... each game is different. I'd love to see us roll Auburn up and catch everyone by surprise. Just not convinced it can happy.

But as they say, anything can happen. Chris Todd could revert back to their first few games of the season and look horrible, maybe we get a pick for six, you just never know.

That's why we love college football. Go Vols!
