the desperation of both teams should make Saturday's tilt interesting. The loser's season is over. The winner can at least continue to give lip service to having hope.

Isnt this about the point in the season after the Gators have beat us down, rubbed our face in the dirt, and taken our wallet that we blow up on a team and give the example why the status quo should remain untouched? Auburn is doomed I tell ya DOOMED!

Tennessee's season was over on Labor Day and then kicked in the teeth by the gators.

Yeah the game will probably be entertaining. I don't like our chances against that defense. I'am having visions of another crompton meltdown.

What's Fulmer's record against Auburn since Tuberville's been there?
I don't like UT's chances either.

from a pure situational standpoint, you have to like our chances.

i don't think there's a legitimate football reason that says we're just 'better' than auburn at any phase of the game.

but neither offense is going to scare anyone, which puts this game in fulmer's wheel house.......knock down, drag out.....where 1 or 2 plays can make the difference.

and if we don't make stupid mistakes, then we can win this game. but as of yet, they've not proven to me they can make it an entire game with out some game changing mistakes, and the special teams won't get fixed in 6 days either.

close game, Auburn wins by a TD or less.

I agree...I see this being a fight and if (and it is a big if) we can get a lead we have the team that can grind it out on the ground but if we ged down at any time in the game then we abandon the run and it is over...I do like our chances if we come out fired up, I hope...:peace2:

Auburn will be by far the best Defense we've seen so far and I think the best we will see all season. With JC throwing the ball we could be in for a long day. AUB will pick off good QB's so JC is just what the Dr ordered for AUB.

We are too much of an afterthought to be either one of those. We are more of a Ron Paul, who knows its over but keeps campaigning anyway.

I'd say we're more like the Hillary Clinton. At one point, we were a viable option... but never truly respected because we inherited success.

Now we're just a joke, and adored only by the most ardent supporters.
