I expected what he showed tonight.

Came out flat, were tired, won the game, even though it was ugly. We have a lot of concerns right now, but I dont think its things that cant be fixed.

Saturday will be what tell us where we are headed. Whether we are gonna finish this thing out strong or whether we may drop 2 or 3 (maybe even 4 more) to end the season.

Honestly Admiral's 5 turnovers and Kyle/Bowden both having poor showings again was my biggest heartache tonight.

It never seemed in doubt despite our poor play. Barnes got quality minutes from JJ/Pons/Fulkie they didn't empty sheet it at least. Turner out rebounding Kyle is an issue though...that shouldn't happen. But Turner responded and Grant had a double double...Bone was solid too, forced it a few bad passes but played good otherwise.

Ugly and tired with a short turn around from an away game...this team needs some rest big time, got 3 full days before LSU...we'll see how they play Saturday, basically it's for the SEC regular season title I think.

Legion of the Miserable.
Speaking only for me... I'm happy with the win.

24-2 is nothing to sneeze at.

We still need to play a lot better on both ends of the court, Especially at this point in the schedule.

That kind of performance gets beat by most of the teams left on the schedule.

Agree with all of this.

I said before and early in the season that this was a very good team with some flaws...I stand by that. When we are on, and the refs aren't doing their garbage, there are very few teams that can stay on the floor with us, much less beat us. This team has no depth, and has a weird habit of going zombie for stretches of games.

24-2.

21 of 24 wins by 10+

Unbelievable!

We will start nitpicking every non-blowout now because we are on the tip top of Maslow's hierarchy. But we should take a step back and realize what an amazing UT team this is. May not see it again in our lifetime. Over a month at #1. Tennessee just doesn't do that in basketball. A real perception changing season.

His minutes have gone down as well it seems.
He is really my only individual worry about this team. I am worried the team is wearing down
Yea hasn’t had more than 20 minutes during those games (idk about tonight tho it isn’t showing on espn). Really wish Walker would step up, he’s needed for a FF run imo

People really underestimating how big of a letdown game this is. Crazy hyped game with Kentucky and a tough loss. Hard to get up for this game. Just pull out a W. Nothing else matters.

UK lost a tough game also before the UT game. In fact they got robbed. Either one of these type games effect you one way or another. You either do what UK did by letting it fire you up and play better or you come out and sloppy game against a team that hasn't won a conference game all season. The problem is we have seen UT's play slowly get stagnate and it caught up with them at UK. I believe they have hit the end of the season wall and I hope we can right the ship before Saturday.

All greats in my book! Funny, we had Unforgiven on Saturday night when some friends were over before the game. We got on the conversation of westerns; and I made the comment that the movies I watch regardless is Unforgiven, Lonesome Dove, ans dances with Wolves.
I just got home from work and flipped the TV on and am catching the last gunfight of Open Range! Lol

Speaking of Costner
What do y’all think of Dances with Wolves and did anyone watch Yellowstone last summer? Great show!
Dances with Wolves is a top 10 film for me. I don’t tear up easily, but the ending gets me every time.

I don't think so. LSU could drop another 1 or 2, but it sure is important to who ends up on top.
Hoping Florida gives 'em a UK style game tomorrow night and beats em down. @bama and @Florida look tough.

Hell I'd love it if old Candy got their only win in the last game of the season hosting the Tigers, that'd be hilarious.

I was hoping you would say snake handlers. We could've gone on about that for hours. ;)

Them folks are nuts, I respect the faith some of them have, but...they are nuts. When anything becomes about you and showing how much more faith you have than others (Like some Amish that are prideful about showing how little pride they have) It is not of God.

I know a lot of them that are not like that at all, they are just sincere in their desire to show how God is in control.

All that being said...them folks are nuts..😁

I thought Fullerton was very good tonight. Just need him to be good and it doesn't matter about walker imo

I don't want to look ahead, but man oh man...I cannot wait to see how good DJ Burns is, he's the highest ranked recruit Barnes has gotten on campus (James next year will change that of course).

And he's a legit big man in every sense of the word...it's waaaaay too early, but just seeing his energy on the bench he could be another Ron Slay and boy would that be AWESOME.
