JP is rocking on the hires..............I am getting excited for this season, we might not win more than 8, but I believe we'll be waaaaaaay more competitive.

They win 6, 7 or 8 and have the other 6, 5 or 4 limp off the field helping each other walk and most dreading next year and the rest glad they're leaving...I'll be just fine.

Wonder how they keep Sherrer? More money and an associate HC title maybe?
Anytime a coach is demoted, the message is the HC isn't necessarily that worried about keeping said assistant coach for some reason or another. Pure speculation, but my guess is that it is recruiting related. Pruitt seems to be sending a clear message...shape up or ship out!

He was.. but a D coordinator job elsewhere is clearly more appealing
Depends on where “elsewhere” resides. He’s been DC at South Alabama...doubt he goes back to that level for anything other than a HC gig.

Hopeful this staff can gel and get positive results considering the changes. With Sherrer seemingly being demoted and Ansley coaching all DB’s + DC duties is a huge task. I realize Pruitt will be involved but he should start transitioning more into HC duties. Overall we should see significant improvement!

What's more interesting is he's actually calling plays. Pruitt really giving up the reins?

With so many changes, you have to begin to wonder if we go through another half to full season of acclimation. As long as their locked in for 2020, idc.

I can see Pruitt’s efforts focused heavily with helping Ansley adjusting to play calling and all that intells. Ansley has proved he can coach DBs at a high level but calling plays in the SEC is a tough challenge, that goes without saying.

Sorry. Mullen try getting rid of him?

Actually Grantham was close to signing a deal with the Bengals and bolt to the NFL, but seems we out bid them. Grantham is not super popular in gator circles because of his choke sign when he was at UGA against a UF kicker. He also tends to over blitz. Everyone wants continuity at this stage though.
