I am a freshman at UT just hoping for something special in this, my first season as a full-time student.

some tough games coming up for us...@Auburn, @Georgia...Arkansas looks strong. I am still a little unsure about this new QB situation, but at least he has Jamal to lean on

Tee is not the passer Peyton was, but I think he is earning his keep with what he is doing with his legs. That was a great run to get us back in FG range in OT. Peyton could never have done that.

I too am in my freshman year of college...but down the road in Cookeville, not at UT. I've kind of forgotten UT football exists for the moment while I am deeply engaged in chasing after this girl from Ohio....I think that by the time the Georgia game rolls around, I'll be back on top of my game (with regard to football that is).

This thread sucks. I am newly moved to Knoxville and married to a woman who will soon be sleeping with several different guys.

Not to rub it in, but I'm recently single! (and a medical student). . . .I bet it won't be a bad combination. :naughty:

How does everyone think the Bowl Championship Series is going to change the game? Personally, I think it's going to be a great step forward for college football - we'll finally have the 2 most deserving teams playing for the National Championship each year.

I am telling you guys, this is the year. They have been on the lip of the cup for years and the Florida monkey has been lifted from Phil's back. The losing streak against UF has turned 180 degrees. Manning is gone, so we won't be auditioning anyone for the Heistman. This team has a shot.

it will sure be interesting to see what happens when the first BCS rankings come out...that formula is a bit confusing...

With all of the success we've been having recently, I wonder how many Championships we'll have 10 years from now? I can only imagine...

Well, at least they're using computers. No more of this partisan voting for your favorite team crap. The best two teams will play for the championship.

It's nice to think that there won't be any bickering over who's better anymore.
