The notation on Tennessee:
"And if we look at perhaps the most surprising inclusion -- Tennessee -- it's easy to see why the Volunteers have flown up our board. Tennessee is one of just three FBS schools to return 10 starters on offense (and it brings back 17 overall), including quarterback Jarrett Guarantano, who posted a solid QBR of 67.4 last season. Even though Tennessee struggled on offense overall last season, teams that bring back that much talent tend to undergo significant improvement from one year to the next. The Vols also rank highly in recruiting over the past four years."
Ugh.........How does Bama get #7?
Has anyone seen their kicker?
Yea....I honestly didn't research Bama kicker. I just remember him missing several when I did watch them. I kinda jumped to a conclusion from the past couple yrs as well.Bama kicker doesnt get much practice. "dont need no stinkin 3 points".
Also, I am surprised at being #15. I know it is hard for me and probably the rest of VN to have an objective look at where the team is at after the last few years of cycling promise then disappointment and despair. Could it be that others can begin to see what we are afraid to hope?
This was what i was thinking was the reason. Lots of teams in the sec are losing qbs and others this year to the draft. We didn't send any and only had a handful of seniors actually play last year so it makes sense for us to get a plus for returning starters even if our returning starters might not be top 15 quality.Even considering the criteria for this list it’s way too high for us.
- Returning starters at quarterback, on offense overall and on defense
I'm not saying that...ok. I was wrong.![]()
Errybody skeert to get excited and be optimistic.
Its funny if you think about it.
I know you weren't being a SA....I really didn't do the research....I was going on the past couple years....I'm not saying that...
