I’ve been looking at articles on the crowd sizes of both rallies and have yet to find one that goes with your statement of Beto besting Trump at his .. I’ve found a few that has Beto between 6-7k according to police reports . Trumps venue held 6,500 police reports and reporters saying it was filled to capacity with thousand more standing outside estimating the total at 10k or more .

1. We said most come legally and overstay. Nobody said there are no illegal border crossings.
2. I’m not affected, so who cares? (This was the conventional wisdom thrown around here during the most recent Trump shutdown.)

Agreed, doesn't make it an emergency. emergency is 9/11, or one of those hurricanes that devastates coastlines of several states.

if he goes that route or has to redirect non-border related funds he loses. he gets any money specifically for a wall, he wins. as least as I am scoring, so it is possible for him to both win and lose in my mind.

So either the millions of illegal aliens in the US are just figments of our imagination, or we actually had immigration people meet all of them and hand all of them a bottle of water or a towel and wave them through? If the latter is true, then why is it such a pain dealing with immigration when you step off a plane as you reenter the US from a foreign country?

If walls don't herd people into checkpoints, then why are there so many of them at airports making sure you don't get distracted and wander around immigration? I've kinda noticed that guards at airports keep tabs on places where someone cold slip by and bypass immigration officials; funny thing is the walls seem to help them concentrate at those places where someone could slip by.
