Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston are loaded. Milwaukee might be the best team not named GSW
Miami and even Chicago has some young talent. Washington had talent but injuries killed their chances.
Knicks will be legit next year with KD
We're just going to disagree about that is and isn't real basketball. The NBA is light years ahead of college ball. Our team is a really good college team and I'm enjoying their success like everyone else here is, but I can't say I find it entertaining basketball most of the time. The one caveat is that we do play pretty "fun" basketball when we're at our peak - just wouldn't say it's a result of the system we run or the way our coaches want to play. It’s not real basketball. Give it your star and let him score. I am enjoying our team this year because they share the basketball.
The only reason I really ever watch NBA is because Memphis has a team. The Grizzlies developed a different identity, and Marc and Mike are real good dudes. Not really interested in watching a 140-130 game. JMO.
If Solomon’s eligible, I see him STARTING at DE instead of Emerson who would be a better fit at backing up Gooden. Also Kirkland may start the beginning of the season but won’t by the end. Also have the feeling that Roman Harrison will at least be in the two deep.Speaking of football - I'm toying around with a defensive depth chart based on who we "expect" to be on our roster this year. Feel free to chime in with changes you would make to this setup. Obviously we want to get our best athletes of the field as much as possible. I think this is the entire defensive roster. (Green highlight was HS five star, blue highlight was four star). I left Crosby on the OL for now. At one time in the 247 composite ratings tracker McCollough was ranked as the 22nd best player in the country for the '19 class. That and his being an EE leads me to think he has a good shot at getting the start opposite Warrior, that is unless our Head Coach has an aversion to starting freshmen in the secondary.

I agree w u on. Harden.. Hate watching him, hes an unbelievable talent but he gets way too many fouls called against whoever is guarding him.. He initiates the contact but gets every call..Sure. Just a differing opinion. But our team absolutely plays based on the system they have been taught. You can’t share the ball that much if you don’t have a system in place. It’s coaching.
I just never found it entertaining to let James Hardin play one on one ball and shoot 25 free throws. The NBA is almost WWE. Good for the people who enjoy it.
NBA is a joke, almost unwatchable imo, stars can mug whoever they want and don't get called. Don't get me started on steps. I can't stand the game.I agree w u on. Harden.. Then again it could be that I'm a Warrior fan and hate the Rockets..
The RPI is a complete joke:
#1 6 loss Kansas
#3 Houston (not the Rockets)
#9 Tennessee
Who’s gone:
Tackles Martez Ivey and Jawaan Taylor, guards Fred Johnson and Tyler Jordan and tackle/guard Kavaris Harkless. This position group has been hit harder by departures than any other. The Gators are losing four of their starting five. Those four starters — Ivey, Taylor, Johnson and Jordan — have been starting games since their true freshman season. That was four years ago for Ivey, Johnson and Jordan and three for Taylor. The four combined to start 145 games. They were the heart of an offensive line that was a big disappointment in 2017, but eventually became a team strength in 2018 under new offensive line coach John Hevesy.
