Well damn...did not realize I was still at work. All this sensitivity and ethics training, sprinkled with a little vernacular education, is totally lost on the fact some folks think all white skinned individuals hail from a mountain range near Russia.

I propose this...although viewpoints differ, skin colors vary, and education is up to one's own desire and standards, the one thing that remains constant is that we all bleed...ORANGE!

Go Vols!!!

I wonder if it wouldn't have been better for him to swallow his pride and slide into that off the field role. I know it would be hard to do that but he could have learned some more from some very good coaches. I like TF and hope he lands on his feet and is very successful and returns home again some day.

I sit around two UGA grads and a Bama grad at work. When I saw the news on VN today I randomly bought up Ansley to see what they thought of him as a coach, knowing they would praise him but probably hadn’t hear the news yet. The Bama grad went on to talk about how great he was but he was coaching in the NFL now and that was his dream otherwise he’d still be at Bama and then one of the UGA grads said, “Nah, Kirby will hire him away from the NFL, just wait.” They then argued about whether he would come back to college and if he did, which of the two he would prefer. I finally stopped them and said, “Well, turns out he prefers UT over both your bum schools. Pruitt just hired him.”

I then walked off just like this:

He was on radio. He knows football is big boy stuff. Once upon a time, not long ago, we fired the same guy we’re paying out the azz to replace him.

NSD results and coaching changes this week have me humming along to the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" version of a sing along, but substituting with the following:

One, two, Vols are coming for you…

Three, four, Tennessee Defense gonna score…

Five, six, Pruitt's got this fixed…

Seven, eight, Fitz has'em lifting weights…

Nine, ten, gonna win a Natty again!

Boredom, pure boredom...I miss college football season. Until then, go BasketVols!
