The “market” is the product and when you can’t build a roster then the whole thing crashes. Lot of kids don’t play in the NFL, so when they get shut off from a free education, share a bowl with them.

We're missing the whole point.

By granting the waiver the NCAA agrees, on some level, that UGA is a hostile environment.

Can't imagine that's a good look.

Abd can't imagine how that might be bad for UGA from a recruiting standpoint.

Surely that won't ever be discussed in the trail...

I'd say it's comparable to The bad publicity we got from when Zo left.


I hope Posters don't confuse my post. All racism is wrong. I just don't think programs deserve the criticism of painting with a broad brushfrom some select few idiots that all schools unfortunately have.

This should also dispel any rumors or concerns that CPF and CJP don't get along. I don't think CPF would be willing to allow him to fire and hire these guys at these salaries if he didn't believe in him and they weren't on the same page.

I think they are on the same page but I also think offering Fair an off the field job was all from Fulmer. JMO

I agree with this.

My main issue was the charged statement of "Fields played the race card". You gotta think Ohio State coaches had the numbers dialed and paperwork already drawn up for Fields to slap his signature on the waiver request.. yet here we are saying it was all on Fields and he's exploiting his own race for benefit.

I don't blame Fields. I blame the system that allowed for a "lie" to be used as the reason for transferring

Like I said. I am now ready for it to be free and open transfers because encouraging "lies" isn't a good system.

Count me as the guy who couldn’t care less if he’s “pulling the race card”, ncaa exploits athletes all the time. Good on him for flipping the role and getting immediate eligibility
