If neither 5* makes the 2 deep that would be a catastrophic failure

You don’t bring in the top 2 tackles in the country to play 3rd string behind Marcus Tatum and Nathan Neihaus lmfao
I agree but it Seems everyone is forgetting Eric Crosby, Ollie lane and Calbert. They may have a shot a playing time this year. For the first time in a while we have some depth on the line.

But still cool with Kamara, Kennedy and Gibbs.

I'm definitely weird like that lol
Oh yeah!
But seriously, I'm still cool with Wolf as well. Like I said, my own inner struggle, no problem with guys that do.
Haven't considered situations like Kamara and Kennedy. If I never got to start or hardly play, it may change my outlook a little. Especially if the team I was transferring to was way down on competing, compared with my former team. May not feel like I was hurting them in any way.
Who knows, I'll never be in that position lol.

So if you have white parents with money you can't sacrifice to achieve yer dreams? If peyton was narrating would people question him sacrificing? He never fought for his country. He always had money. I doubt he had many obstacles growing up. But would you accept the implication that he sacrificed to achieve his dream? The sacrifice in the message, if you can look past the narrator, is what they sacrificed growing up to put in the time and work to become what they did. Its about the time they sacrificed when they could be having fun or doing other things but instead stayed late at practice or worked out longer. It's about never getting complacent or feeling like you've already accomplished everything. If you reach the top reach higher. But this debate has nothing to do with the actual message. Some people just don't like him regardless of the message so this is pointless. So I'll stop side tracking the jj is fat and lazy thread so people can get back to bashing a kid they were sad about potentially not getting.

Peyton needs to get back in shape.

My thoughts on the spring game and fan support, this is what happens when you have an administration that takes advantage of the loyalty of a fan base. While it's not Coach Pruitt's or Coach Fulmer's fault, they are paying the price for it. Hire after hire of undeserving and unproven coaches has made many in the fan base skeptical of anything the University does. Many have found other outlets for their entertainment give-a-dam. Some die hards are still there but many are apathetic and in a "call me when you win something " mode. Many will never come back and the Vols will be an afterthought from here on out. We've now had a whole generation of potential Vol fans grow up with the mindset that the Vols are losers never experiencing the Vols as a championship contender.

Same thing is currently happening with the Lady Vols. Will the University learn from it's past mistakes? Or, will they continue to ignore the long-term implications of taking for granted a long time loyal fan base?

On Eli Wolf transferring to UGA - maybe he's a plant? ;)

On another topic:

From this list of offensive linemen what is your best guess for a 2-deep to open the season on August 31 when Georgia State visits Neyland?

Darnell Wright

Riley Locklear
Nathan Niehaus
Jahmir Johnson
Marcus Tatum
Ryan Johnson
Tanner Antonutti - OUT
K'Rojhn Calbert
Jerome Carvin
Devante Brooks - OUT
Ollie Lane

T - Wright, Morris, Tatum, JJ

Assuming you have "starters" listed first, if UT has to start 3 freshmen in the OL this fall, we are going to have some real ups and downs this coming year. Wright, Morris and Chris A might be the core of the next great OL at UT, but it's a tall order to step in and start as a true freshman in the SEC.

Just listed 2 deep at each spot. If Trey returns he starts.

I actually think 2 freshmen will start on the line.

Unpopular opinion:
Kicking is overrated and the least interesting thing in football

Me dodging y'all's shots the rest of the day:

Yeah kick returns for TDs are booooooooooooooring

Nailing a 50 yarder to win it, booooooooooooooring

Getting an onside kick boooooooooooooooooooring

punt returns for tds booooooooooring

Totally see your point

Yeah those things are all cool. I never said they were boring.

I also wouldn't be calling to make those changes in the college or NFL game. But in the AAF? I don't know. I like the twist on a league that's basically just to give guys a chance to showcase for the NFL. I'm curious to see how it plays out. Also I don't think all kicking is gone.
