Honestly, he fulfilled his promise so I don't begrudge him doing whatever he feels is best.
Personally? *If it were me, I couldn't transfer to a rival, especially one of the big 3. I would feel that I was disrespecting my teammates but that's me. We're all wired differently.
But still cool with Kamara, Kennedy and Gibbs.

I'm definitely weird like that lol

1st:
LT- J Johnson
LG- R Johnson
C- Kennedy
RG- Carvin
RT- Tatum
2nd:
LT-Neihaus
LG- Locklear
C-R Johnson
RG- Akpo
RT- Tatum

If neither 5* makes the 2 deep that would be a catastrophic failure

You don’t bring in the top 2 tackles in the country to play 3rd string behind Marcus Tatum and Nathan Neihaus lmfao

Yeah I'm normally all for bringing freshmen along slowly, but hard to see neither Wright nor Morris being a part of our top 8 on the OL. Especially since Morris is an EE.

Nobody says that adding Realmuto guarantees you into the series. But we need to fix our problems on offense. Realmuto and Donaldson is a huge upgrade over McCann/Flowers and Markakis. Not to mention, the Dodgers added Machado, one player, and where'd they go? Oh yeah, the World Series.

Flowers hit almost 400 vs lefties last year

Flowers had a 1.117 ops vs lefties. Dude can be a good platoon player. More pitching coming.

Just saying, Kamara didn't transfer from aL, he left there for community college then to us. Kennedy was a Grad transfer, a student who had historically been allowed to transfer without restriction even though previously a request had to be submitted (almost always granted). A rule change after a few coaches wanted to extend their control further ultimately leading to the current portal system. You are correct on Gibbs though, he is a non grad and subject to sitting out unless granted a waiver.

This caught my eye on the twitter...

I like it. Crazy. But I like it, and not because it's Butch. That's a side benefit. These players commit to major university's with the implied understanding that they will be receiving top care, which in some cases they do not. The problem is, this is a question btw. Butch does the selection of the S&C head, but does not actually hire or pay. He directs his desires for the direction and activities of the program. The University, I'm assuming, should have oversight over this ensuring unsafe actions aren't being taken, ie squatting without a belt, machinery in good working order, etc. Who would be to blame, Butch for selecting and hiring, or the University who actually hired and oversaw, and paid the contract. Who's the legal guy here to sort that out for me?

Simple answer, this is a crazy sport. I played and loved it. Loved the team and friendships built but probably won’t let my kid play.

Georgia placed 2 Freshman OL on the SEC all freshman team last year. Wilson at RT (he was actually a RS FR) and Mays at RG. Mays was an EE. They had another true FR, Hill, that split time with Mays. He was also an EE. He started the last 4 games of the season, the first 3 of which Mays was injured.

I'm sure there are many more examples of true FR carrying a heavy load in their first season in the SEC. Morris is an EE so that's got to help.

I get it, but you know as well as I do, that the Nats and Phils underachieved. Its possible that they will again, but they have made significant moves to get better this offseason. The Braves haven't.

Here is a question to the Braves fans: Do you think this roster as currently constructed can win a World Series? If no, and that's the only answer, then what are we arguing about? We need to get better. The goal is to win the Series and nothing less. We have the money and the prospects to make moves to get better. Instead, they're letting our division rivals get better. Currently we sit 10 mil under our opening day budget last year. This is a terrible offseason by any measure. They could still make some moves, but there are no big time free agents position players left except for Machado and Harper, who nobody thinks the braves are after, and Realmuto who will be gone today or tomorrow to the Phils. What are we doing?
No we are not built for the WS. We got lucky last year because the Nats and Phils sucked. Imo this year we donr make the playoffs and finish 4th behind Phi NY Was. I'm daying we win Phi wins 92, NY wins 88, Was wins 85 and Atlanta wins 80 this year
