Why should we be happy and show our support for an awful product? What sense does that really make?
I didn't say you should be happy. Tennessee football is not an awful product.

There are always hills and valleys. If you don't want to be supportive in the "valleys", Fine go cheer for someone else on their "hill".

I just don't think all this negativity is helping the team to do their best.

A more supportive role from the fans would give us a better outcome.

I don't think so. Before the UCLA game...ALL was postive and supportive...and look what it got us.

That's my Favorite movie. I am not in a "fight" to lose.

I just don't think all this negativity is helping the team to do their best.

A more supportive role from the fans would give us a better outcome.

Maybe we should all get around a campfire and hold hands singing Kumbaya to get our team to win  The only way we get back our winning tradition is if we start from scratch. I don't think it can get to much worse than these past four years.

I believe that many of the negative post are given in order to try and make the team better. What fan is a fan just to be negative? We want what Fulmer wants to provide but cannot anymore . . a winning and competitive team. I don't expect a NC or SEC champioship every year but I do expect for our rivalry games to be competitive on both sides of the ball and not a blowout loss by halftime. We as the financial support expect more in return than what we are paying for with our increased ticket prices, concessions, parking, etc . .
When are we going to realize they don't play football for the fans.

It's not like a hundred years ago a bunch of fans were standing around and a football game broke out!!!

guessing that if it weren't for the financial support, there would be no games.

but when the sports are no longer making money at the schools, they get rid of them.

I'm pretty sure we still have a swim, diving, lacrosse, track, tennis, and water polo team.

What would happen If all Volunteer fans got rid of the negativity and came together in support of the Coaches and players?

You should realize Fulmer is not going anywhere, petition or not, so let's try to make the best with the situation.

Go Vols!!!

Lets get behind OUR coach and TEAM!!!

WE WILL WIN OUT!!!

VOLS FOREVER!!!:rock::rock::rock:

Good point BPV, the fan base was overwhelmingly positive going into that UCLA game. And after 8 months of waiting, we were rewarded with nationally televised embarrassment.

Even the Knoxville sports talk guys have nothing positive to say... a sure sign that the end is near.

Only question is, will we have to run Hamilton out of town first?
Yes, Hamilton will have to be removed because he will not fire Fulmer.

so at a rich tradition school who use to be a power house, we are suppose to show up to the games, and be happy w/ losing to anyone who is worth a crap?

thats what cubs fans did till the white sox won the world series in 05 and then the cubs started spending money to set up their run. i'm not happy about this crap we're seeing. :cray:

How do you remove Hamilton?
The UT president sends him a nice letter: Dear Mr. Hambone, your services are no longer needed seeing that it has been proven that we need a new head football coach and you refuse move us in the right direction simply because he's your buddy. You have been removed from your position. P.S. Go Vols!
