What would happen If all Volunteer fans...

there is no advantage. Similarly, positivity is of no value either. The bottom line is that our opinions and reactions are of little to no impact, regardless of type.

Maybe I should have asked "what is the disadvantage of positivity".

I would disagree, I think it has an impact on the players.

how about shutting the hell up about rallying around the coaches and staff and players and lets vent the way we have and get to somehow feel better about things which I do not see it happening...Thanks! :clapping: so sick of these wannabe feel good threads

If your negativity is simply "you venting", then vent. But afterwards, realize that it was just that "venting", and that there is no true substance behind it.

Go Vols!!!!

Fans only comment on the product that is on the field and how it is guided. We don't get to see the practice and only get to read the reports.

What positives did you see against Florida? Outside of running a positive yardage play on occasion, I did not see any. The rest was negative and thefore the fans are well within reason to point it out as a failure of the current staff. Especially when those failures are occuring consistently in games. I am not going to sit here and believe the UT program is all well and good when obviously it is burning in flames. We have no future with the current staff. Period.

I saw one of your own on Saturday Steveogator. I was tailgaiting between the river and the stadium and here he came all dressed in his gator attire. He was chanting we Florida fans love Fulmer. Keep Fulmer around. As long as he is here, we will keep winning. He kept saying it over and over. Sad thing is, all the UT fans were agreeing with him.

A more supportive role from the fans would give us a better outcome.
If that were the case, the Cubs would have a gaggle of World Series titles and South Carolina would have multiple SEC football championships.

I hand you UCLA game as exhibit #1.

Good point BPV, the fan base was overwhelmingly positive going into that UCLA game. And after 8 months of waiting, we were rewarded with nationally televised embarrassment.

Even the Knoxville sports talk guys have nothing positive to say... a sure sign that the end is near.

Only question is, will we have to run Hamilton out of town first?

Perfect example, see we lost. If the would have told him to F off and beat his a$$ we would have won!

So you think one moment of positiveness after a couple years of "fire phil" is gonna make things different.

It is all BS anyway all I see on here since I registered is FIRE FIRE FIRE!!

He ain't going nowhere, get that through your head.

And if he does it will be to the BANK laughing at all of us.

If you think the fans have ANYTHING to do with the outcome of the game you are crazy! I was screaming my lungs out Sat. and James still returned that punt for a TD.

I never said we should be happy with losing, loosing sucks (just ask The "Loser" Dude), but calling for the HC (who is not going anywhere) to be fired and Booing our team out of the staidum has no positive outcome for the team.

I think it worked for Florida.

Why don't we move this to the "cheerleading" forum? Very few on here are in the mood for the rah, rah, rah, back Fulmer BS.

You only asked for one moment of optimism and I gave it to you. I agree that Phil will be banking it... but I don't know that he'll be laughing. I believe that he wants to see us win as much as anyone - but that he doesn't have it within himself.

If the fans stop contributing financially and Neyland is empty, he'll be gone. Its going to be ugly, but don't think that there are no alternatives but to just suck it up with what we got.

I believe that many of the negative post are given in order to try and make the team better. What fan is a fan just to be negative? We want what Fulmer wants to provide but cannot anymore . . a winning and competitive team. I don't expect a NC or SEC champioship every year but I do expect for our rivalry games to be competitive on both sides of the ball and not a blowout loss by halftime. We as the financial support expect more in return than what we are paying for with our increased ticket prices, concessions, parking, etc . .
