Not going to happen. The stuff in Mississippi is pretty much a known thing now (pretty much open and spoken about), and nobody gives two ****s.

I’m going to say it and I don’t care if the tin foil hat jokes start...if Saban wants something done about it then it will happen. I’m almost convinced that is why the Ole Miss stuff came out. If Kirby starts beating Saban it will start.

Full disclosure

I was worried about this class during much of the season. Pruitt has a long way to go and so does this team. Days like today show us we are finally heading in the right direction. No gimmicks or slogans. Just football. Not there yet but we are setting ourselves up for the future.

I’m impressed

I wish you the best of luck, its all being done in the open now. The stuff going on a MSU is worse than OM. Nobody cares, NCAA even knows about it... nobody does anything, nobody cares.... limited ability for the NCAA to really do anything, meaning investigate.

Camp should be all the time they need. Did you see OL this past season?

You’re right though, some bumps along the way, but they are better than what’s there now

From "5 star" Richmond and Kongbo the "beast" to "he's a starter the day he steps foot on campus" Brian Darden, I've been conditioned to be skeptical.

I understand this class on paper is a B, but when you factor in our record the last two years is 9-15 it’s an A IMO.

I think we may have a 9-3 type roster right now and if we can do this well in 20 & 21 then when this 19 class is in their Junior year we may be in position to make a run at Atlanta. We'll probably need a couple elite RBs next class, along with a couple elite WRs and some heavy hitters for the DL then continue to build depth elsewhere. JMO, but It's pretty evident from a roster standpoint we're moving in the right direction. Win 9 + a bowl game this season and 2020 should be loaded. Give them a year under their belts add more depth in the 21 class and we could finally be back in the mix.

I think you have to look at the whole picture too. We also added 2 guys who were top ranked recruits coming out of high school, as transfers. We kept our S & C Coach, got a top notch OC, and added Tee Martin as well.

Lot's of teams lost key components, including Bama and GA. So, I think we have hit an absolute homerun. We may not be competing with Bama and GA on the field just yet, but we are setting up for that, IMO.

This was a very good class all things considered. Unfortunately we can't compete with UGA and Bama until we put together about 3 consecutive top 10 classes. Until then, we will not get to Atlanta. Get 7+ wins this year and a top 10 class for 2020 should be a realistic goal.

To be cautious - yes - although UGA may be subject to a melt down at some point in the near future. Based on the schedule I'm going 8 wins. Losses are Bama, UGA, UF and one of the other more toss up SEC games like USCJr or MS State. Just like this past season we are going to get some good help out of a handful of newcomers. Chaney has been able to incorporate true freshmen into O-lines in the past and I expect JG to take a step forward. Having Callaway, JJ and DWA back is big. The strong S&C makes the difference in the entire roster. The Mizzou and UK road games are now very winnable with the big losses on their rosters. UK is always winnable anyway. As long as CJP is HC Vandy will never beat us again.

Agreed, I think give it 2020 and the playing field with our team will be a bit more level for us against those two teams. Butch’s 3rd year had us going toe to toe with Bama. And he was a poor developer and in-game coach. If we fix the trenches like I believe we will, we will probably be able to hang with them around year 3.

I feel pretty confident in the Miss St game, they loose a lot from last years team and it’s at home.

Clemson dragged their ass. I think they are getting and are going to keep on getting diminishing returns due to all the staff turnover. And I don't think UGAs staff is all that great either. Bama has been getting classes similiar to that for a decade straight and still can't win em all. How great would Saban really if he had equal talent?
