If we land Pickens and Wright then we’ll pass them, barely. If we sign Wright and they don’t sign anyone else, we pass them. But it looks like either Elam or Moore (or both) will sign with them
They'll land Elam, don't know about Moore. But they're sitting at 23 right now so at most they'll add two more. But it won't be a 5 star top OT in the country, that's for dang sure.

I think Will Wade makes some sense, and I think Casey Alexander will have moved on to a bigger job and be a hot name by then. Great coach.

Great coach. He might get a crack at a bigger job this year if he wins a tournament game (which I think is very possible)

Yeah, I think he will likely have options after this season regardless. If he doesn’t win a tournament game, he’s probably still be able to move up to a higher midmajor, like a CUSA team or the like. If he wins a game or two in the tournament, a P5 job may be on the table - maybe something like Wake or BC.

Brother you need to watch this documentary called Root Cause or some such. Very interesting.

I watched that the other night. I'd like to see the other side of the story so to speak. Like non biased data/peer review articles, etc. The dental Association is saying it's flawed data from back in the early 1910-1930's and has never been able to be replicated, but of course they're going to say that.

Same reason they skip Shrout I guess? Just 3 star guys.

I actually think JT will push JG this Spring & next.
Yeah...but unlike Shrout, Maurer actually produced at the E11 camp, and on the field his SR year...

Saying Shrout is a 3* prospect, especially considering his SR year, is more than understandable..

But.. Maurer being ranked a 3* is a dumb f'n joke..

I love Maurer’s upside and can’t wait to see what he’s got this spring.

But it’s always hard to count too much on QBs when they’re true freshmen.
I agree, and I really don't count on him to take it from JG this year, but I think just forgetting, and totally disregarding him is dumb.

Pretty basic article on ESPN, but broken down this way it makes a lot of sense IMO. Jimmies and Joes etc etc. I think it actually reflects pretty well on us. As bad as our roster was when CJP took over, I personally can see a light at the end of the tunnel if he can take another step and get some more on field results next season and recruits like most of us think he can.

Recruiting data can predict college football's next championship

Summary - Key points:
ESPN 300 QB on roster:
Check
Signed 5* in previous 3 classes: Check
4 Year top 10 recruiting avg: X (16.8)
Sign 33%+ of instate ESPN300 players: Don't get BigNewt started...
Sign 5 top50 defensive players past 4 classes: On pace to do this with CJP (3 in last 2: Crouch, JJP, Alontae)
Top 2 class in Conference:
A long way to go here
