? They like social justice campaigns probably? Cap Kap succeeded in some ways, his name and message is bigger than himself. He's like the dark side. The more people railed against him and struck him down, the stronger he became.

I hope our guys watch just a small portion of some of this to see that even as #1 team, we are being disrespected. Add fuel to their fire. If Auburn’s backcourt is so great, then why have they already lost 6 games? Lol

OK....how do we fix our 3 pt defense?

ONe thing I have noticed is that teams shoot well early and then taper off as the game goes on. Could this be part of the strategy....basically wear teams down both mentally and physically and just let our shooting take over??

Pretty much, it has to do with UT not doing well with ball screens to start the game. They've been bad at transitioning off screens since SEC play began. Also, Rick Barnes has said a couple times now that he thinks this team has so much confidence in their offensive ability that they don't bring the same energy on defense that they did last year.

Double team (help) and switch less. Assign Bowden to the opponents top 3 point shooter - he's the most effective defender outside. Alexander needs to stay in the paint and be the force he was the first half of the year. He should be cleaning up the dribble drives by blocking shots.

Just pray for good health and focus by the players the rest of the season. Most everybody who understands the game knows the Vols are a FF team. I just hope the players keep the "don't pick us" attitude all the way through. They play strong and well with the chips on the shoulders.

Earlier in the season we were hedging the screen.....I have seen us do this only a couple of times recently. Where I am seeing the biggest issue is the dribble-drive kick out. Guys are wide open.

I kept waiting for Bowden to take Chambers ( I think that was his name) yesterday. Did that finally happen or did he just go cold??

Agreed. There are times when Kyle will leave his man to help Grant or admiral in the paint and in doing so frees up a guy to get the 2nd Chance opportunity.

He needs to a monster rebounder.

When you're defending the paint ,in which we do helps keep the bigs out of foul trouble. You can't hardly do both. Like in football load the box stop the run, then teams pass more. Choose your poison or your best medicine. Really depends on the team we're playing as to what needs to be the focus.
