So much ref whining itt every bball game. We've had our fair share of calls this year and then some this season. Sit back and enjoy a great team and stop placing success and failure on the refs. These guys are great independently of all that. We don't need excuses.

Like Rucker, but is this through UK's first 21 games or whole season? Huge, huge difference. Our toughest stretch is yet to come, then the secc, the ncaat.

Our next loss is going to come when we can’t find that extra gear that we have. I was confident we were going to hit it tonight. It’ll probably happen against a team that poses some matchup problems with their length, like UK or LSU.

The key in March is going to be getting a draw (or results) that allow us to avoid teams like that. I am actually pretty confident about how we match up against most of the top teams. Duke is an obvious exception, but I think we have characteristics that will be tough for them. Wouldn’t see them until late anyway.

From quick google search he is comparing us to UK after they completed a full season, plus tournaments. Terrible comparison really.

I don’t have an issue with anyone who thinks Barnes is the greatest coach we’ve had, but I think the “by far” doesn’t give enough credit to how phenomenal of a job Pearl did. He left with some warts, is coaching another conference team, and there is no way I would trade Barnes for Pearl at this point, but until Barnes matches or exceeds Pearl’s E8 run, I think the argument could go either way.

Can’t speak to Mears, which probably isn’t fair, but his tenure is nothing more than an abstract to me. He’s definitely passed Wade.

Maybe I just look all Texasy or something. Or maybe I attract stupid people. But like 4 out of every 5 times I get some remark about a Power T, they're saying Longhorns. If it were just one area like, say, Central Valley where it's all ranches and such, I could chalk it up to that, but I've gotten it in LA, San Diego, OC, the desert cities... doesn't matter. It's gotten to where when I look at buying new gear online now, I tend to look for things that actually say Tennessee or Vols or something. grrrrrrrrr
