I think it is a great class. Love all the players, and their attitude. I don't have on orange glasses. I don't have on rose colored glasses either. It could have been a lot better with a couple players, but with where a program is, it is an impressive class. We have got to beat Vandy, KY, etc. before worrying about GA. We can enjoy the ride or complain about it not going fast enough.

This class want going to be "that" class no matter how well it finished. At least not immediately.

It addresses two major needs ol and DB.

Need the 19 season to be better and 20 cycle to be top 10 or better.

This class is good. It's not elite, in total. It has elite elements.... Specifically ol.

Has elite OL, elite WR, elite RB, elite DB’s, and elite Lb’s. The one weakness with this class is DL.

VQ chatter today was one of a bit of letdown.

Kind of funny bc they have no skin in the game.

Simonton mentioned questioned our potential misses in state; and IF Pruitt is right on some instate guys. Then Austin Powers chimes in - voice of reason - basically saying that this staff is more impressed with 20 kids.

I'd look for a big shift in state next year.

its been widely said by talking heads that HS coaches have taken note of new staff: It WILL pay dividends next year. Watch.

They are definitely prioritizing TN kids in 2020. Hope we can land them. It would help tremendously if Baron and someone like Mays would go ahead and jump in the boat. We need that in state peer recruiting.

Worth noting that Pruitt has been pumping the breaks on the 19 in state class since he was hired.

Not defending stupid people being stupid. Some of the responses on here are worse than what the kid did. But to chalk it all up to youth is also wrong. They don't magically spawn character when they turn 25.

i think most understood that we may have been too late to the game. that he wasnt a top priority guy early on, and once names came off the board. we made up ground.

it is what it is. maybe he'll still go to TN.

Not that I liked his post, but kids have character. Also, he is not a kid if he is ready to go to college. If the reports are true that he intentionally led the TN coaches on because he was not offered soon enough, he deserves to be criticized for that. He doesn't deserve for people to wish for bad things to happen to him.
