Think we are starting to see some benefits from Fitz program.

Going to see a lot more improvement this spring and summer. One kid (won’t name names) has dropped 31Lbs, and is way quicker and watched him throw up 450lb like it was nothing.

Kid came in grossly out of shape and his transformation is astonishing. Fitz stays on them just about 24/7, weights, diet, explosion drills, you name it, he even calls and texts them on weekends.

Fitz is going to be here a long time.

We’ll look and perform like a different team this fall.

I hope Crosby got his chit together. Was high on him c ming out of high school. Looked to be a beast then. But fell off big time with no S& C.

Crosby?

Yes, since he played significant snaps, that means he's experienced.

Gooden is as good or better than anyone we had last year. Solomon is better than anyone we had last year. Them two together > last year.
TBF, the most he played in one game was like a dozen snaps.

Gooden flashed at times, but was inconsistent.

Solomon has to get eligible and healthy to be a factor and was good, but not great at UM.

JUCOs are always a crapshoot, especially if they don’t EE.

There’s a lot of potential for Pruitt and Rocker to work with on the DL, but tons of question marks as well. Quality of depth and how much our returners can/will improve are concerns heading into 2019.

Gotta say, regardless of how this class ends (which I'm still banking on Darnell at minimum, we can whiff on everyone else and I wouldn't really care), we've addressed major needs.

+ 2 JUCO DL with three years apiece, plus a portable mountain in Elijah Simmons to compliment Gooden/Mincey/Emerson/Taylor along the defensive front.

+ Verrry well-rounded OL class, featuring at least one Day-1 starter in Wanya (and again, Wright's gotta be a Vol at this point).. True guards in McBride and Lampley. Akpo is the sleeper.

+ Playmakers at WR and RB in Keyton and Gray, plus a worker to say the least in Means.

+ Shored up that pesky secondary problem with Fields, Tank, Beasley, and Burrell. McCollough could apparently play early, but I'm betting they all contribute.

+ Slowly but surely addressing LB. Can't understate Quavo and Harrison. One more between To'oto'o and Russell (or both!) will be super solid.

And Pruitt said something on ESD or shortly after about how each of these guys figure to help the program in their first year. Whether that means starting PT or rotational/situational, these guys are hand-picked by this staff, and not someone else's leftovers.

We can look at Georgia and Bama all we want, but at the end of the day, you can only play 11 at a time. Clemson figured that out. This class can still jump a couple spots from 15th to a sexier 12th or so, not worried about that. Start building for 2020!

Not trying to be a dick....but we've heard that every off season for the past decade.

Rucker: 😏

Anyone who's like super duper outward about their faith is kind of inviting magnifying glass towards their character.. More often than not they fall short of the self-righteousness they espouse.

Dabo hasn't yet, and so far there's no obvious reason to think he will. He doesn't strike me as the snake that Freeze was.
USCe fans will stalk him and dig up whatever skeletons he has in his closet eventually. He’ll get caught doing lines off of a ladyboy’s feet in a Super 8 suite within the next 5 years, IMO.

It's probably a little too early for football predictions, but here's one for you guys:

Tennessee need to win at least ___ games in 2019 for yourself to feel like it was a successful season.

regular season only
6 is success
5 underwhelming but not surprising
7 overachieving and very happy

would be schocked with anything outside the 5-7 win range (regular season)

We kept the WVU game close until halftime. They won that game because our defense didn’t have the personnel to get after Grier and slow down heir passing game (despite Sugar’s claims heading into the game that the DL was completely changed and had a good matchup against WVU’s
OL).

But yeah, agreed on Morris and Wright. I’m really excited about them moving forward, but worried they may be asked to do too much to carry the OL as freshmen.
Loving all this space. And, rent free!
