I think the theory that you learn more from a loss is bull s***. You learn a lot about your team when they have to fight like Vandy and Bama. To think it would be better for our team to lose a game or two, to me, is just crazy. Would you rather win and get better or lose and get better because it doesn't matter?

We've got a dozen LBs on roster quite a few we're 4 stars. Some names people have completely forgotten.

DeAndre Johnson, Shanon Reid, Will Ignont, Solon Page III...I hope we get something out of these guys this season. Ignont was a very highly rated ILB from Alabama.

I am not familiar with the process but my guess is this is the difference between admitting guilt and telling the NCAA to F off.

I think a loss can do some good for a team with a similar record to ours if it is a young team who may be getting sloppy. The loss may show that they need to follow the coach’s process better.

That said, I think our team has the character, experience, and leadership that makes that scenario inapplicable.

I've talked to some U of SC people who think that Fitz leaving is one of the main things that lead to Spurrier's decline. They said he was outstanding at transforming player bodies. Bigger, stronger, faster, he can build them. We have one of the best.
