These stories freak me out. I guess I should back them all up to a cloud service, or keep hatd backups in our storage unit.

I relied on my faith. Point blank. I'm not trying to get preachy here but, when people compliment me or my wife on how "strong" we were; we weren't. We were complete train wrecks.

Prayer, coffee, more prayer, even more coffee and every once and a while, sleep.

Hospitals suck. I didn't used to dislike them because I worked in one for many years. Now, I get anxious just thinking about them.

Get and accept help from people who are offering. I didn't eat for three days before my parents literally made me. It's not like I was doing it on purpose, I just wasn't focused on anything other than my little girl. I was focused on too many other things. I needed someone to show me "hey...you look like death on a cracker, maybe you need help..."

It's not weakness bro. It's generosity. Accept it from others and give it back when you can.

Oh, think it's a great idea!
One of my concerns on the fund me stuff is how public they are. Absolutely can't let my company find out the severity of my condition.
And we've maintained a relatively normal life for our kids socially. They go to friends houses instead of vice versa but it's already such an awkward age, don't want to have other kids .. well anything. They've been through enough.
Kinda regretted posting their pics the other day, just don't want to make things any more different for them than necessary.

BasketVols are amazing. This was their best game in about 2 weeks. Admiral began to come out of his slump. Grant is a man among boys and Bone is playing his way into elite status. I’m trying to stay calm but I just can’t help it. I haven’t been this excited about a team since the 2nd run of the Jamaican bobsled team in 88.
