1. We do suck right now, but he’s committing to play somewhere for the next 4 years. And it’s not like y’all are good currently either. A lot can change in that span.

2. Morris has never coached in the Big 12. The same offense just won a national championship. Russell is a LB anyway so not sure why that matters. Auburn also runs a similar style.

3. Arkansas historically is a top 25 program all-time and at least has been to Atlanta 3 times and finished top 5 in the country under Petrino. We’re not Bama but we’re not Kentucky either. We used to be great in basketball too but that doesn’t mean I’m going to compare us to UK basketball like some of you seem to be doing with football.

And the people hating on Fayetteville have obviously never been to Northwest Arkansas. It’s one of the fastest growing regions of the country, Walmart and Tyson money have done a lot for it the last 20 years. It’s getting a Topgolf soon while the only one in Tennessee is in Nashville.

But for the record, I think Russell ends up at Tennessee.

Oh, we'll be back in football soon. I firmly believe that. However, I think Arkansas will still be irrelevant in football as they have been for 50 years. Arkansas has a history of choking in the few big games it's played (Texas in 1969, Tennessee in 1998, etc.). They even lost a Sugar Bowl to Ohio State after the Buckeyes were like 0-10 in bowl games vs.SEC school. Arkansas has a nice middling program, nothing more.

We have been so bad since God knows when and yet haven't lost to Tennessee since.... 2007? What does that say? Even a Bret Bielema coached team beat Tennessee in Knoxville.

My brothers are die hard Arkansas fans and they would watch the first portion of games last year and then start drinking heavily. Went from following Arkansas constantly to not even knowing their record last year lol
