TrumPutinGate

I'll use the Trump/Giuliani defense. So what if they were tipped off. Is that illegal?
Trump and his campaign are oozing with Russian connections. You think whether or not CNN was tipped off is significant in comparison? I don't.
Yes because the scary Russian connection is a hoax, the Mueller/CNN collusion is now proven true

Could it just be that Stone was telling the truth in his texts to Bannon... and he really was in direct contact with Assange? Good lord.

Show me the emails. All I see are news articles that say things like:

...the indictment said, citing four separate instances where Stone publicly alluded to his knowledge of WikiLeaks and communications with Assange

Who is person 1 and person 2 in the emails? I see him supposedly emailing people acting as imtermediaries with someone who was supposedly the head of Wikileaks.

Really? A man who does no interviews is a bigger media whore than Trump? Yeah, okay.
nope but well over 2 years and all he has done is a bunch of lying to congress garbage, he just likes hearing himself talked about on CNN and hates Trump because his bestie was fired by Trump

Maybe it's not illegal, but it definitely says something. The reporting is that Stone's attorney was set to let Stone turn himself in. He wasn't a flight risk. There was no need to make a 6am SWAT team capture of a guy that was set to turn himself in, while having it taped by CNN news for immediate broadcast.

This tells us that it wasn't about the arrest. It was about intimidating Stone (adding pressure to the process indictments) to get Stone to do something that he's so far refused to do. So, it tells us that Mueller has very little/nothing on Stone as it pertains to his overall case, and most likely even less on Trump.

This isn't me talking. It's former federal law enforcement expertise commenting on it.

They obviously had a search warrant, and might have been after an electronic device being used, which could easily be destroyed (yes, just like Hillary, or a microwave etc. ). Encrypted communications, I imagine. (yes, imagine).

It makes complete sense that, wanting to issue a search warrant, they'd want to raise his suspicion by posting news trucks at the corner of his yard. lol

This was for show and pressure, plain and simple.

That's assuming they knew CNN knew. Maybe someone told them, but no evidence who.

Andy McCarthy is a Republican who writes for the National Review. He sees only what he wants to see. That indictment is filled with links between the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks... the links between WikiLeaks and the Kremlin have long been established. This doesn't require any connecting of the dots.
Is it illegal to be tied to Wikileaks?? Seems the same as being tied to FOX, CNN or MSNBC or whatever your flavor is.
