TrumPutinGate

It is not consistent to applaud the Mueller team for correcting the record following the BuzzFeed report but then challenge their integrity a week later because they accuse Paul Manafort of being a liar.
I never applauded him or his trash team, I was here more to just laugh at you all for falling for it

So Roger Stone has been indicted for lying (Similar to Cohen) to Congress, obstructing justice, and witness tampering.

Where's the Russian collusion charge?
Yea thats another good point. He has nothing to do with Russia but Mueller had him arrested. I thought Mueller was doing the Russia investigation?

I’m afraid you’re seeing what you want to and not what is in the indictment. The bottom line is that he got indicted for lying about his failed attempts to get in touch with Wikileaks. He was never in direct communication w them. Bannon and the campaign quit paying attention to him. No collusion and no conspiracy. Anything else is pure conjecture and imagination
When you charge conspiracy, you need to charge all co-conspirators at the same time. That is just how it is. That charge will come only when Mueller is finished.

If I was Trump I would contact Julian Assange and say I want any and all wikileak emails you have from the DNC and RNC and I will grant you full clemency.

It was the SCO's decision to send a SWAT team and make a huge spectacle over Stone's arrest. CNN knew in advance what was going to take place and was there to film it.

I bet politics had nothing to do with that at all considering Mueller is so far above any of that stuff.

There is not an innocent explanation for this tweet: "Trust me, it will soon the (be) Podesta's time in the barrel," Roger Stone tweeted on August 21, 2016. It was not publicly known at the time that John Podesta's e-mails had been hacked. So, how did he know that? Waiting...

The bottom line is that Roger Stone knew on August 21, 2016 that WikiLeaks was in possession of e-mails hacked from the Gmail account of John Podesta. That was not publicly known information. He could only have learned that from one source - WikiLeaks.

Really? If Roger Stone could have known it from Wikileaks at that time, someone other than Roger Stone could have known it from Wikileaks at that time. Thus Roger Stone could have learned it from someone other than Wikileaks. Thus your argument undermines your argument.

LOL! Read back through the thread, buddy. This gets old. 1) He was charged with what he could be charged with - collusion is not a crime. 2) Read the indictment. Collusion (conspiracy) is spelled out pretty clearly between the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks. Collusion with WikiLeaks = Collusion with Russia.

Lol. Don’t pull a muscle stretching.

Did they create a fake dossier and shop it out for a FISA warrant?

You tell us, just try doing so without leaving out the infinite number of possibilities that don't fit your narrative.

Could it just be that Stone was telling the truth in his texts to Bannon... and he really was in direct contact with Assange? Good lord.

CNN: 'Reporter's Instinct' Led Us to Camp Outside Roger Stone's House

A partial transcript is as follows:

ALISYN CAMEROTA: Tell us everything that transpired this morning.

DAVID SHORTELL (pictured): Alisyn, an extraordinary morning. We were here since 5:00 a.m. waiting for whatever was going to happen. It was dark. 6:00 a.m., just after the hour, about a half dozen police vehicles with sirens, but no sounds, pull in front of this Fort Lauderdale home, where Roger Stone was presumably asleep. The lights were off in the house. About a dozen officers, FBI agents wearing tactical vests and with large weapons fanned out across his front lawn. One went up to the house and rapped on the door, shined a flashlight inside, said “FBI, open the door.” Moments later, as you heard in the video, it say “FBI warrant,” that’s what the agent said. We then saw a light go on the second floor and moments later, there was Roger Stone in the doorway.

CAMEROTA: What’s so fascinating is that we’ve talked to his attorney, the attorney didn’t know it was coming. Clearly, Roger Stone didn’t know this was coming. You were staked out at his house, you didn’t know that this was coming. Why were you there in position?

SHORTELL: Alisyn, it’s a reporter’s instinct. The whole Russia team thought maybe something was happening. There was unusual grand jury activity in Washington, D.C. yesterday. The grand jury, Robert Mueller’s grand jury, typically meets on Friday — yesterday, a Thursday, there was grand jury activity. We also had some other signs that maybe something was going on this angle, the Roger Stone angle. So we showed up at his house this morning, we were the only ones there, and, lo and behold, the FBI agents did come and arrest him.

We were the only ones there and, lo and behold, here comes the FBI??????

Now come on. Even though you all are Democrats and we go back and forth I sincerely think you all are smart people. There's no way you all see all this and that not raise a red flag up for you all.
I'll use the Trump/Giuliani defense. So what if they were tipped off. Is that illegal?
Trump and his campaign are oozing with Russian connections. You think whether or not CNN was tipped off is significant in comparison? I don't.

Look at Christopher Wray's video on FBI.gov going off on the government shutdown and get back to me... That guys is no fan of Donald Trump.
There is a path to reopen. There was also a vote to pay .gov employees yesterday. Don't put it all on one dude. Both sides need to make concessions.
