LOL! The indictment shows how Stone was exactly right... He was privy to what would be released by WikiLeaks... and he communicated that to Bannon.
Lol, except that exchange was entirely based on how Stone didn’t know what he was talking about which prompted Bannon to reply ‘wtf!?’. In fact the indictment shows that they quit even paying attention to Stone. This indictment is over his lies about trying (unsuccessfully) to get in contact w Wikileaks. No conspiracy no collusion.

CNN: 'Reporter's Instinct' Led Us to Camp Outside Roger Stone's House

A partial transcript is as follows:

ALISYN CAMEROTA: Tell us everything that transpired this morning.

DAVID SHORTELL (pictured): Alisyn, an extraordinary morning. We were here since 5:00 a.m. waiting for whatever was going to happen. It was dark. 6:00 a.m., just after the hour, about a half dozen police vehicles with sirens, but no sounds, pull in front of this Fort Lauderdale home, where Roger Stone was presumably asleep. The lights were off in the house. About a dozen officers, FBI agents wearing tactical vests and with large weapons fanned out across his front lawn. One went up to the house and rapped on the door, shined a flashlight inside, said “FBI, open the door.” Moments later, as you heard in the video, it say “FBI warrant,” that’s what the agent said. We then saw a light go on the second floor and moments later, there was Roger Stone in the doorway.

CAMEROTA: What’s so fascinating is that we’ve talked to his attorney, the attorney didn’t know it was coming. Clearly, Roger Stone didn’t know this was coming. You were staked out at his house, you didn’t know that this was coming. Why were you there in position?

SHORTELL: Alisyn, it’s a reporter’s instinct. The whole Russia team thought maybe something was happening. There was unusual grand jury activity in Washington, D.C. yesterday. The grand jury, Robert Mueller’s grand jury, typically meets on Friday — yesterday, a Thursday, there was grand jury activity. We also had some other signs that maybe something was going on this angle, the Roger Stone angle. So we showed up at his house this morning, we were the only ones there, and, lo and behold, the FBI agents did come and arrest him.

We were the only ones there and, lo and behold, here comes the FBI??????

Now come on. Even though you all are Democrats and we go back and forth I sincerely think you all are smart people. There's no way you all see all this and that not raise a red flag up for you all.

The first clue that the indictment was imminent came last week from CNN's Sara Murray, who was reporting on the upcoming grand jury appearance of Jerome Corsi's stepson. As the stepson's legal team negotiated a date for testimony, they were told to pick any day but Friday -- an indication Mueller's team expected to be busy Friday, according to a source familiar with the discussions.

You are just wrong! Stone did know what he was talking about... it came true. He could only have known Podesta's Gmail account had been hacked from one source - WikiLeaks. It wasn't publicly known information on August 21, 2016. And Bannon wasn't responding "wtf" to Stone... He said "wtf" because he didn't understand why Assange had made an announcement earlier that day that there wouldn't be another dump made for several weeks and although it was "significant", it wouldn't be related to the presidential campaign (Assange was lying and Stone knew it and was reassuring Bannon that the Podesta dumps were coming as he had promised). They never stopped paying attention to Stone... the indictment lays that out in great detail. What the hell are you looking at?

You can feel the excitement in their voice while reading that. You don't believe these dems here see anything wrong with crooked Mueller telling CNN this was going down.

So Roger Stone has been convicted of lying (Similar to Cohen) to Congress, obstructing justice, and witness tampering.

Where's the Russian collusion charge?
Indicted. Not convicted. Plus if recent history teaches us anything about this sham investigation this show was on to try to get Stone to tell the "special prosecutor" a lie about the President

LOL! Read back through the thread, buddy. This gets old. 1) He was charged with what he could be charged with - collusion is not a crime. 2) Read the indictment. Collusion (conspiracy) is spelled out pretty clearly between the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks. Collusion with WikiLeaks = Collusion with Russia.

I’m afraid you’re seeing what you want to and not what is in the indictment. The bottom line is that he got indicted for lying about his failed attempts to get in touch with Wikileaks. He was never in direct communication w them. Bannon and the campaign quit paying attention to him. No collusion and no conspiracy. Anything else is pure conjecture and imagination

But he said he was in contact with Wikileaks. He also said he was in contact with the alleged Russian hackers, who are we to believe?

One could also surmise that he wasn't in contact with the Russian government either.

The bottom line is that Roger Stone knew on August 21, 2016 that WikiLeaks was in possession of e-mails hacked from the Gmail account of John Podesta. That was not publicly known information. He could only have learned that from one source - WikiLeaks.
