For me , anytime you try to get me to believe Nancy Pelosi is “ Strong and Brillant “ I’m pretty much going to ignore anything you say . Not many people on either side are willing to hook their wagon to that .

That's sort of the way I felt until recently. She's been impressive and is starting to win me over.

There is a certain symmetry to it. Trump is doing this only for the base, which is blissfully ignorant of the facts. So he can tell people that support him based on wrong facts more wrong facts to shore up support he already has.

Remember how their big thing was that DNC rigged the primary against Bernie because a few folks within the DNC expressed a preference for HRC. So how does this compare I wonder. Seems a wee bit worse.

If you think that won anyone over to Trump's side you're mistaken. Who said, "You know, I thought the Dems had the better argument, but then Trump got all petty with Nancy and totally owned her, in a sorta 3rd grade way, so now I think Trump's got the better argument."

So did that change the view who was undecided on who was to blame for the shutdown? It may have reasonated with the folks who were scarred by that Gillette ad, but they were already solidly in Trump's camp. For anyone sitting on the fence, it was rank pettiness

It didn’t do anything to help prove your case of Pelosi owning anybody . They are both petty . She swatted him to remind him that she runs the house , he smacked her 30 mins before take off to remind her that he has more juice . Meh
