I’m no longer a resident of Tennessee. I made it official yesterday after transferring my CDL and car registration to Georgia. I’d had the same license number since my 16th birthday.

It wasn’t all fun and games, though. I got to pay tax to the state of GA for what it thinks my car is worth. $844.75 later, and I get a tag that’s valid until my birthday in May. Then it’s another $20 to renew for the next year.
