Definitely agree. Our defense is actually my biggest concern right now. Several guys have hit a bit of a shooting slump, but that's basketball. I guess we should have expected the shooting slumps to come at some point anyways given how well we shot the ball the first half of the season.
Yeah, I am of the belief the last 2 games have been off because the chemistry on court is changing with Turner's return.

If he turns the corner like Bone has, and like Bowden appears to be doing....NASTY. Those are our 3 best on ball defenders when they are putting in max effort.

Me and my dad are driving to Nashville from Memphis for the game tonight. We want some hot chicken. Not Hattie B's. Had that.

What are some other good options that won't take forever to go sit down and eat?

Thanks in advance

Princes is great but will probably take too long. Party Fowl and Pepperfire are two other good options.

#123

Damn...

Assuming we close strong, we've got Darnell Wright at #25 and Henry To'oto'o at #46

Darnell Wright - 25
Henry To'oto'o - 46
Morris - 51
Gray - 99
Keyton - 115
Crouch - 123
McCollough - 163
Harrison - 175
Harris - 148
Fields - 241
After seeing how rivals does all our recruits. I have no interest in stars ot rankings anymore. I trust the Vols new Staff to go get guys that will make a difference here. I tell you it feels good to relax and not worry about what they have them ranked. As we now know, some dont camp or do the interviews required to stay up at top of rankings. So the coach's evaluations supersede any of the company's rankings. Imo

This game tonight worries me a bit. It's probably the last time we were ranked number one, Vandy knocked us off a couple of days later. A game we should have won.
I think the '08 Vandy team was better than this Vandy team and this Tennessee team is better than the '08 team. But, I get it. I thought we would run Bama out of the gym on Saturday and it was a dogfight. Memorial is a tough place to play. It is also stupid.

1) The loss to Bama the season before was an indicator of tough roster match-up issues.
2) The team had just blitzed their first handful of SEC opponents. They were due a let down and had not fully bought into the tougher D first mentality.
3) Bama beat an improved Kentucky team. They almost blew it in the last two minutes, but dominated the game overall. They are the same inconsistent, but legit team they usually are.

Tonight - not so much. Vandy stinks lately and there are no match-up issues. They are not a good shooting team. If Barnes got our guys' attention this week it should be a double digit beat down.

Take the politics out of it and it dominates. Shocker.

Look for the Super Bowl ratings with huge markets like Los Angeles and Boston to draw record ratings. The NFL is dominating television and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

I just don't think many people outside of LA or St. Louis are going to care about the Rams (hell, I don't think most of LA cares, either), and everyone outside of Boston is sick of the Patriots. I think the ratings are going to dip compared to what a Saints/Chiefs Super Bowl could have been, or even one including just one of those teams. My twitter feed more or less confirms this.

Just took a quick look at the ESPN top 100 Bball recruits for '19..... We picked up #21 Josiah James, but other than that, who we got? Looks like Penny signed the #1 player and has a couple others in the top 100 along with KY, AL, GA, and FL... I would think with how well we are doing there would be more interest ... full disclosure, I know zip about Bball recruiting! ;)

Rams can't even fill up the coliseum on game day..

Well everyone outside of Boston hates the Patriots so the entire country will be Rams fans

People always say they aren’t going to watch and then end up watching. Ratings will be the same as they always are

I agree that Bama may be the team that we match up the worst with.

I will add that I think there was a bit of a fatigue issue for us. I think Williams and Schofield played 34 minutes each. It seemed overall that the subs played fewer minutes.
