I love baseball, just didn't expect to have to filter through 10 pages I missed only to find out 95% of it was Braves crap. (Not a Braves fan if you can't tell lol)

Saw Metallica last night. When they played “Sad But True,” I wanted to put on shoulder pads and a helmet and go wreck someone.

I think if you played high school football in the mid-90s, the Black album was required listening before a game.

They’re so good live. They played a good cross-section of their stuff, had a pretty cool stage setup, and just seemed like a group of dudes up there having a good time. I expected some serious egos, but instead, for example, they stopped the show to point out a guy who had just got down his hands and knees to get a pic for a little girl who was there with her Dad. We sat next to a former marine who’s my mom’s age who first heard them in the early 80s when he was stationed in Southern Cal. It was a fun night and a great crowd.

If you can see them, it’s worth it.

That’s a nice assumption that you make, doesn’t make it reality. I watched every game this season. Perhaps I have an informed opinion

I apologize if I offended you. How long have you been out on Snitker? I get it. I was so mad at the Cubs when they went with Mike freaking Quade as their manager instead of Ryne Sandberg a number of years ago and I get mad at Maddon some, but he won a world series, so I guess I let it go. Fans tend to remember the bad moves that a coach or manager makes and slough over one a lot of the hundreds of decisions during a season that they make that work out very well. As an outsider who has not seen that many games, I think you have to ride with Snitker because of the improvement that they showed. Do you think he had any influence in bringing up Acuna when they did? I bet he did. So, he has made some good decisions. Sometimes you make the best possible decision and a player on another team makes a great play or gets a game-winning hit on a great pitch. It happens. One last question...what do the baseball fans who live in Atlanta like you think of Snitker?

Maybe brings more to the plate, stolen bases, walks, bunt hits etc does not have to be the best hitter. How many lead off hitters are the best hitters for the team?

I don't know. It depends. As a Cubs fan, I have seen Maddon bat all kinds of dudes leadoff. In general, a leadoff hitter should get on base a lot and set up the bigger hitters later in the lineup.
