As a rookie, he was extremely hot to start the year, and then teams adjusted and then he cooled down. Then he got hot again later in the year. Not surprising at all. I'm not saying that he should be the leadoff hitter, but he should be over Ender any day.
Well, when they play the Cardinals, I hope you’re right. (Not that a decision like that has a massive game to game effect)

OBP not close between Albies, Markakis, and Inciarte (markakis wins by >35 points)

Markakis was 3.97 (53rd in baseball)

Inciarte 3.66 (117th)

Albies not in top 120

So yea, Markakis is a serviceable lead off guy for my team
Might wanna check Markakis' numbers following the all star break. He fell hard.

I dont like the Markakis signing because it says to me that AA is willing to wait another year before pushing for a WS. I think we can do it now and I'm a little disappointed.

As for Snitker, he makes some boneheaded managerial decisions but his players love him and fight for him. Multiple players said he was the main reason they fought their way back into games so many times last year. His rapport with the players cant be discounted.

I havent been a fan of this offseason so far but...AA is a good GM and hopefully we'll get something going. Go Braves.

I agree with this take completely. Snitker needs some help actually managing games. But his value is that the players love him.

Hmmm

You don't want ender leading off

You aren't saying you want Acuno leading off

You aren't saying you want Albies leading off

You don't like Markakis because he sucked after the all star break last year

So why don't you tell us exactly who you'd have hit lead off?

From my seat you are running out of options.

That’s a nice assumption that you make, doesn’t make it reality. I watched every game this season. Perhaps I have an informed opinion

Went to my first game in 1969 at 3. Native of Atlanta from Hank and Niekro to Buzz and Biff and horns and Murphy and sat in first two seats of first row beside Ted’s box and knew guy who lived beside Ted growing up and worked for Turner. Was at 95 series game six and watch them religiously. Doesn’t make me a better fan and Snit seems like Bobby. He had trouble with pens too but more than half of managing is dealing with ego and running a team and having players wanting to play hard for you. Snit and Bobby did this and especially in today’s age, that is the most important thing. Last year, I would’ve ran that lineup and never had a lefty or righty back to back. Snit frustrates me sometimes but those guys love him like they loved Bobby and respect the game and give their all. Unlike that bozo Freddie Gonzo. Hated that prick. So, I am good to go with Snit. Just my thoughts.

I forgot about Newk. I like him a lot and if he's still a Brave then he takes Touki's spot this year more than likely. There's been some talks about him being traded which is why I forgot about him. He needs to be more consistent though. He had several games where he got demolished.

Don’t sleep on Kyle Wright
