Tehran loves the middle of the plate, it’s fast and faster with him. Today’s hitters are dead fastball hitters. They aren’t looking to put the ball in play or protect with two strikes. It’s homerun, double, or strike out now. He is a solid 3-4 in the rotation type guy but he has been one of their only consistent starters which is an issue

Bass the Braves already have Freeman, Albies, and Acuna, Swanson has a ton of potential as well...The Braves already have their Harper/Machado in Freeman and Acuna. Let's also not forget they finally have an ace in Folty, the Braves will be fine. Markakis brings so much more to the table than what we as fans see, the current players loved this signing. The Braves will be fine.

We have holes tho. We need another top line starter. We need another reliever. And alsthough Markakis provides us something, if he plays like he did last year which was a career year for him, he won’t be valuable to us after July. If we want to win the series, fine isn’t enough.

I think you know what my stance is. I’ve stated it multiple times. My stance is I don’t want our worst hitter batting leadoff and getting more AB’s than our best hitter. I know, that’s such a crazy take

Yea it's so dumb to have him hit at least once every game with the bases empty and then after the starting pitcher another 2-3 times. Dumb

Again, for the 50th time, I’m fine with Acuna not batting leadoff. I’m not fine with Inciarte who is a career average hitter who can’t hit lefties batting leadoff. If you want Acuna at 4th then fine. But put someone who can get on base at leadoff like Ozzie. Ender shouldn’t be batting higher than 7th or 8th

He's not our worse hitter. That is a crazy take. Also a good 2 hitter because he has speed and is a lefty to hit in the hole and can bunt and hit and run and move hitters along and gets on base for the big bats. No one is saying he should bat 4th. I don't think you have a great grasp of the flow of a lineup. When he was getting on base he lead off. When he was struggling at the beginning of the year, he was moved down. You don't run the same lineup anymore for 162 games. He hit over .319 vs lefties in 16 and .291 vs lefties in 17 and had about the same average vs lefties and right handers last year but can hit and never will hit lefties. He struggled at the beginning of the year last year. In the second half he hit .302 with a .345 on base and a .448 slug for an ops that was .794 in the second half. He scored 85 runs and stole 28 bases.
