Hubbs follow up on JJP...

“I didn't say he wasn't dialed in. I want to see how good the guy is. Tons of hype last summer and August. But didn't have a chance to factor in last fall. He's been here 7 months. Curious to seewhat he looks like this spring.”
Sounds like someone is backtracking a little. Pruitt must have said something to him :cool:

Dear Lord
He's the worst... I watched Inciarte be a below average hitter all season and terrible at leadoff when he played there. I watched Acuna rake and win ROY from the leadoff spot and literally carry the team in September. But yes, lets put Inciarte at the top of the lineup. Heck, if you want Acuna at cleanup, bat Ozzie at leadoff! Snitker is awful

This is one of the many reasons why Snit should have been fired

Really bad take

Young teams overachieve for a reason

First time they have been relevant since Bobby Cox and people are bitching. Imagine that🤪

Not a bad take. Fact. Apparently you didn't pay attention. His management of the bullpen was awful. He tried desperately to keep Inciarte in the leadoff spot even though he's terrible. And now, a season after Acuna dominated at leadoff and wants to stay there, he wants to put Inciarte back in the leadoff spot. You can spin this to argue like you always do, but facts are facts.

Ok. I'm on the Knox county side just north of the deli.
Right on.

I live north of Pine Ridge which is north of Chestnut Ridge, on the old Heiskell Rural Route #2. Frequently, I traverse Heiskell and/or Chrisman Rd to the post office since our old Black and Tan likes to trouble the mail carrier, Sandy.

Heiskell is a fun place, imo.

Lemme know if you’re ever in the market for local beef for the freezer. :)

Yes, about playing our worst hitter in the leadoff spot. That's a reason to complain. A good one at that.

You need to understand that young players need to be brought along slowly and with all due respect your opinion on what the order should be is meaningless when a team overachieves and makes the playoffs. Overachieving teams don't fire their managers that's dumb

What in the world are you talking about? Young players need to be brought along slowly? Acuna? You mean the guy who hit 30 homers and was our best hitter when batting from the leadoff spot? Did you watch the braves?

Of course you can't fire him, but he's awful and will not take this team to the next level. He's horrible at managing the lineup and he continually tries to put Inciarte in the leadoff spot. Inciarte is our worst hitter. Spin this all you want. You don't bat your worst hitter at leadoff. If he wants Acuna driving in runs, then fine, but getting Inciarte more bats and Acuna less bats, is insane.

We should've thanked Snit for his service, sent him back to Gwinnett by saying he's great at developing players, and then hired a proven manager who can take us to the Series. Snit ain't that guy. We won in spite of him last year and anyone who actually watches the braves knows that.

Wait, what? Kakes is back?

This won’t be the lineup.
Yes, Kakes is back. I have no problem if they want to move Acuna back even though he raked at leadoff. But giving Inciarte leadoff and thus more AB's than Acuna is completely ridiculous. A monkey could construct a lineup better than that.

Players vouch for Snit. Think he can lead the team, win the locker room. Need someone who can help him with advanced stats, lineups, matchups, bullpen management.
